We have noticed that quite a few members have been flaming and trolling others simply because they don't like it. Such behavior is against our Forum Rules and will not be tolerated.

If you are having issues with another member, the first thing you should do is try to resolve it privately. We are aware that things don't always work out, in which case, we will offer additional advice. If you truly cannot stand a person, do not respond to anything they say. If you lack the self-control when to not respond to that user, add them to your ignore list.
A lot of people complain that the ignore function is not a good solution to their problem. While we can understand those kinds of points of view, we view the ignore list function as a last resort. We don't claim that it's the best solution, just a solution. When it comes down to it, members need to realize that it's not always possible to get along with everyone, especially people who refuse to change. Putting people on your ignore list is what you do when you've already tried to work things out and simply couldn't. When it comes down to it, no matter how much you hate someone, no matter how much you hate what they say and do, your actions are entirely your own, and you will be held responsible for them. If you refuse to take suggestions from the staff, and refuse to control yourself when around someone, we will not make exceptions based on your personal dislike for someone.
Another issue we would like to address is some users' need to spam a thread because it was created by someone they don't like. This is not alright and will not be tolerated. Again, you are responsible for your own actions, no matter who you are dealing with. By breaking the rules, you are behaving as badly as you think the other person is behaving or worse.
Just as a reminder of what consists spam:

If you have no additional information or opinions to contribute to the thread besides "this/^this/^" or an image, do not post in the thread. Posting only images in a topic that isn't in Bean Rua is not allowed. Any image posted in a topic must be relevant to the topic, and must be expanded upon. Posting only images in a serious thread with the purpose of derailing it will mean warnings and infractions. Your dislike for a thread does not give you the right to ruin it. If you have a problem with the thread, report it. Under no circumstance should you take it upon yourself to take the thread down in your own way.
Lastly, we would like to remind everyone that staff action towards members is not always immediate, but that does not mean that no action will be taken. There is often a need to discuss how we want to go about things, particularly when it involves a complicated situation, or when it involves large groups of people. Do not think that because no action has been taken yet, that you have gotten away with breaking the rules.
The recent drama that has been going on recently is uncalled for and completely unnecessary. The Nation staff would like to keep the environment friendly and welcoming for everyone. IF you cannot abide by the rules, you will be held responsible. People adding to the flames will be dealt with accordingly, no exceptions.
