In the sections that i visit, (Mabinogi related, i dont visit bean rua simply because the amount of imcomprehensible nonsense that goes on reminds me of work and home) i think the thing that could be improved upon is the amount of redundant threads and posts, granted off topicness occurs natually, and that is fine (to a certain extent, over a page of off topicness is when i pm a mod).
However, from what i have read in of topic settings, try to put the same style in moderation as you do the mabinogi sections?
Yea my opinions usually suck on these kind of things and i have my own stance and view of things, but thank you for reading.
And sometimes these avatars and sigs can get quite disturbing when reading from work, and i only sign in when i have over 30 min of free time. This phone sucks when saving login cookies
Also a big thing that most people don't realize about favoritism, it really isn't favoritsm, unless it's to one person over and over again. Just like sometimes cops let you off because they have a good day, do not mistake that as playing favorites.
Also it is about having a lot of charisma to smooth talk your way out of almost anything, however that is more applicable in RL.
Sorry for the random nonsense, injecting my opinions. Not many people see them.
Don't feel like your opinions are nonsense. Any insight people have to offer is valuable to us. I think your suggestion about moderating every section like it's the Mabinogi section is valid. Unfortunately, sections like Bean Rua might not be fixable until the new forums arrive some time in October.
If you can remember any particular disturbing signatures (for example, some people were bothered by my other signature) let us know. Having a group of these signatures to look at can give us a good idea of what people are uncomfortable with, and give an insight into what our content limit for images should be.

Something that I'd really like is for all the potentially NSFW content to be kept in Rua's House or at the very least, spoiler tagged with warnings.
I've tried disabling all images and videos for when I browse nation in public, but then a whole bunch of threads become meaningless because I have no clue what people are talking about and then I don't even feel like browsing at that point.
For me, NSFW content is any content that, if I left with that content on screen, should a librarian walk in and see an unoccupied computer with this content, would remove it. I think most of us are mature enough to handle NSFW, so I'm not protesting to have it removed. I'd just like to have more control over whether or not these things are on my screen when I'm in a public place and people can look over my shoulder.
The NSFW issue seems to be important to a lot of people, so it's definitely something we're looking into. Since nothing's solidified yet, though, you may need to bear with it for a bit longer.
