Would more than a few people actually like this to be done? If so, I'll do it for you guys.
I honestly can say from my prior experience, that I've been in some way contacted about anything "major" I reported.
I mean - if you report a post and it suddenly disappears, it would be logical to assume that a Moderator took action against that post. That really takes care of the minor stuff.
However, I would definitely agree to have a specific Mod tell users about how all their reports were handled. It also grants users the ability to repeal the decision in an easier fashion, if they truly felt that way.
Although - idealistically,
every Super Mod should be in charge of this. I'm not trying to add to your work-load (we all have our personal lives), but maybe have a little rotation going?
For example, Mod #1 -> Mod #2 -> Mod #3 ... etc.
I'm not fully certain. But talk about it between yourselves, maybe something might work.~

There's a lot of things stopping us from doing that, Arsik explained a few reasons. Another is, even if we could go through your private profiles and do that it's a complete violation of your privacy. I hardly doubt any member would feel safe saying anything on PMs if that were to happen.
I also think it's really pathetic that we'd have to do that in the first place, because the user can't be mature enough to do it themselves.
Yeah. I don't want Moderators snooping through my PMs or placing a user on
my ignore list - just because they deem it as such.
Not to say that any of the current staff would do this, but I personally wouldn't agree to such actions at all D:
