Make obtaining "the Beginner Alchemist" title a requirement? That's sounds good actually, along with the rB Alchemy Mastery prerequisite.
Well, i figured thats why i didn't get in, because everything was rank f but Mana Crystalization (I didnt think about requesting), Summon golem and Rain casting. They are all Rank F or above.
I had Rank B AM, Rank 2 WC and R7 BS, which is now
RA AM, R1 WC and R5 Barrier spikes.
I hope i do get in. AM is the next to get raised, mainly, along with Barrier spikes. Otherwise i dont know what i would rank next.
I just find idiots with Novice skills getting Royal Alchemist is stupid, not very elite if they dont know the basics of every skill (Rank F) :V My Journal also increased quite a bit, and should be around 1300+ before the next choosing.

I'm starting to think all Skills should be Rank F to even begin to qualify. Most people i asked didnt use novice skills to apply. I had 3 when i applied, i changed that now. So i think Rank F or higher is better, and everyone should lose that novice rank alchemy skills. :X Its obvious, but i didnt realise it till now.
I have all the pre-G11 alchemy skills, but a lot of them are Rank Novice.
Fragmentation, Mana Crystallization, Sand Burst, Flame Burst.
I don't think that's a req. haha

I don't even have all those, and my highest alchemy skills are rB mastery and rB crystallization... pretty much nothing else ranked at all. And most of what I do have is novice. So definitely not a req lol.

I'm a bit confused on Activity Points.
I already have above 120. Minimum to keep the job is 60.
How does this help me, if at all? The more, the better?
Yup. Guide creator is clueless on this.

This is a great guide! However, I'm slightly confused about the synthesis success rate. A royal alchemist in a thread in the Nexon forums said the % is +4% for royal alchemists, but your guide lists +1%. The wiki doesn't say anything about it, so could someone perhaps verify what the +% is? If it is +4, I would really like to try and become a royal alchemist, but if it's only +1...well. x_X
Also, that last dark blue/light blue cylinder is sexy.

It is +4% Synthesis success rate.
1% from the title and 3% from the Academic-enchanted Royal Alchemist suit.
Here's the page on the Academic (known as Scholar on foreign servers) enchant:

And here's the page on titles:

Also, thank you! I appreciate your comment. :)

Ohhhh, okay. I guess I didn't see that other part. x_X Sorry about that! Anyways, Royal Alchemist is definitely worth getting just for that synthesis bonus for me. <3

Yeah. In the case of there being more than 100 qualified people, it helps decide who gets kicked from the position for a more qualified newer person. So the people with the lowest points still might lose the position even if over 60. As far as I know anyway.
So yeah, more is better lol.

I thought it was the case of "if you have less than 60, you're kicked no matter what, if you have more, you're evaluated based on achievements+alchemy skills vs other people." I don't think you'll get kicked automatically if you have more than 60 points.

I find it pretty lame, i help on a G9 Final, and it doesnt even give me assitiance points. x.x
EDIT: Ive noticed a glitch, might be just me, but i have to re-equip the boots and robe every time i CC or log in for it to give its Defence and protection bonus's.

That's a confirmed glitch. Also I believe you only get assistance points for solo missions. Also there is a limit of how many times you can get it in a day. You might've hit the cap.

It also cannot be enchanted over.
A great guide, but I think this this bit may be wrong-- I haven't actually tried it yet, since I had no plan on overwriting either enchant on my Royal robe, but when I was going through enchants for training, Thief (rA Suffix, I think?) listed the Royal Alchemy Robe as an applicable item to enchant on. I haven't tried it again yet, but I'll see if I can get an enchant to use for the purpose of getting a screenshot. It may tell you afterwards that you're not allowed to enchant it, but I'm almost certain it was listed.
Definitely great info on the RA system though.

Sinead will tell you that activity points are only for removing inactive Royals. They exist to prevent someone with high rank skills and a solid journal from quitting and taking up a royal spot for who knows how long.
To that end, 60 will get you measured in the same test everyone else is and anything less is an auto-kick. Getting more doesn't give you a better chance of staying in, as illustrated by the people who lost the position with 200+ and what not.

Actually, you can enchant over the uniform given to you. I enchanted extraordinary over my 'soggy' prefix, lawl.

Please tell me boots can be enchanted over too? I love Soggy and Academic, along with Flooded-- but Baking is totally useless and could be better occupied by fearless or something else that gives +crit.
