Hmmm. This is a good thread because I've noticed my viewpoint concerning certain things have changed over the past couple of months.
While certain views are set in stone for me (e.g The dualistic nature of Jesus and the
theopneustos "God-breathed" nature of the Bible), I find that with my knowledge increasing ... my views of the world are changing.
I don't look at things so white and black anymore. I'm still an adolescent and I'm going to transition to becoming a young (or "emerging") adult.
While I may hold some absolute positions, I recognize that those views may not be of benefit in our current society. Especially now that elections are soon, making my decision of the future President of the United States has prompt me to do more introspection.
"Do I really believe this is the right way to rule a country? How strongly do I believe this?"
As for specific examples, you could consider abortion. Since I'm studying human growth and development and I've been doing some research on the topic - I personally feel when an embryo reaches about 6 weeks ... it already possesses the characteristics of personhood. Before - I was fine with an abortion before the first trimester. Now I believe 3 months is simply too much time for the embryo to develop.
I'm still trying to form my views on abortion, but that's just a recent example that came to my mind.
Now - try asking me topics concerning homosexuality and ... uhhh ... yeah. My views on that have changed
so much, in the complete opposite directions, I currently feel a bit lost. Therefore - at this point, I try not to make any "authoritative" claims/stances in favor or against it.
I'm still developing after all. Haha.

In the past few years, I've dropped my religion
The concept of dropping your religion seems interesting, by this - you mean any organized system of beliefs, I assume.
Because spiritual beliefs compose the identity of an individual.~
