Mabinogi 2 Gameplay footage

  The graphics look really nice, but I'm just curious as to whether or not we'll lose the open-endedness that's Mabinogi today.
  If it's another, fancier, Vindi then I'll probably play it for a little bit just to try it out. Otherwise I can't see it replacing Mabi.

  Also it isn't going to be like vindictus... more like... Killzone: Libration(PSP) or... Avengers Alliance? (I think it's called) But with some of the original mabi style gameplay (mouse based movement) without a targeting system for all types of attacks (meaning if you have a sword... you will manually have to move to them to attack and you would have to be facing them if you dont want to miss) you'll still have skills like smash or counter too.
  
  Hmm actuallly... the more i think about it... the gameplay is going to be similar to Diablo 3 not completely but i mean movement and such.

  Facepalm; all Devcat had to do was take the existing game, pretty up the graphics, add stuff, change the map, maybe add another race, write a new story, and fix a lot of the stuff that use to annoy the majority of the players, and they would have had a solid sequel...
  Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the combat in mabi, but at its center the game is about Exploration, and life skills, just give us what we already love...
  
  If the player Characters are pre-fab they already lost me...

  I'm not big on constant action mmos like WoW or Vindictus, but the art for this game is nice. I probably won't play it, but I won't bash it either.
