How does the brain in the jar work anyways?
Are thuamium tools on par with diamond? Can they be used to mine obsidian?
Unfournately it can't have that nice level of automation we had going with better than wolves :(
Can I take the end stone out of the end without BTW for use? If not at least the ender pearls will make nice research. Let me know what I can do to help and I'll see what I can do. I'm not very well established atm though to provide much in terms of tools. Really need to get to work on the Sky Lab though and get my entire base moved.
If you want to install MystCraft, just ban Notebooks and Descriptive Books and make a single Age just for something like Mining.
Also you should probably restrict applying to the whitelist to just Nationers with a post count over a certain number. Noticed 2 random people with 1 post on the previous page :P
If you only have TC3, it's going to get boring pretty quickly when not all features are included yet.
Suggestion: add more Magic-based mods, some I could recommend:
- Twilight Forest

- EnderStorage

- Rei's Minimap
- InvTweaks.
All are updated to 1.4.5, none of them should conflict. Though Factorization does add to world gen (Silver and Lead ore) which can easily be solved by installing MystCraft and making a Mining World after installing Factorization (and of course banning the 2 books I mentioned above, the creator of SoulShards has a mod that can disable recipes. Should come in handy ^_^)
Rei's and FML conflict with the atk class. I just had to make two separate .jars to play on this server and on Flatcore.
Also Flatcore just went down. Uh... guess it's time to try Thaumcraft in SSP.
It shouldn't be conflicting? Works fine in FTB, not sure what is done differently.
Just checked the .zip in the mods folder. There is no atk class, only an asc class o-o

Alright, thanks! Been fiddling with Thaumcraft a bit in SSP, so I'll at least have some semblance of direction once I start. Got kinda confused reading guides for previous versions... Apparently you could once "plant" the crystals, or something?
Yes, in Thaumcraft2 if you got crystal shards and got 9 of them you could make a crystal block that you could place and it would grow. You would use a crystaline wand to pull off each crystal individually for crystal farming. Thaumcraft3 is VASTLY different from the previous version and crystals now "infuse" with stone block.

Edit: Finally, thanks to this wiki, a source of Flux Aspect that isn't wisps. I spent so long hunting the stupid things in my SSP world...
