I tried looking in the games recommendation thread but it's so longgg o__o
So games specifically for DS because I've been so bored lately ;-;
Games I have on my DS right now:
The World Ends with You
Cooking Mama/Gardening Mama
Final Fantasy Revenant Wings
Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Survivor
Hotel Dusk - Room 215
Grand Theft Auto - Chinatown Wars
Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Soul Silver, Explorers of Darkness
Mario&Luigi - Bowser's Inside Story
Rune Factory 2
Legend of Zelda - Phantom Hourglass
Scribblenauts
Virtual Villagers
The only games I really kept playing are TWEWY, Hotel Dusk, Scribblenauts, GTA, Cooking/Gardening Mama, and Rune Factory 2. I'm either finished or mostly finished these games. The others games - I'm either stuck or bored of them.
Shin Megami Tensei is like a cross between TWEWY and FF, it's getting kinda boring.
Pokemon.. well that speaks for itself. I played it tooooo many times. I'm stuck on a dungeon in Explorers of Darkness; kinda gave up a few weeks ago. Mario&Luigi isn't really my type. I didn't like Zelda :< .
Virtual Villagers got boring. It was fun for a while.
Internet fails me when I try to look up new games.
Games I like are RPG, puzzle (with a storyline).. hmm.. I don't like anything that's too time-pressured or with a lot of pressure in general. Don't really like those grid-map games like Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Somehow I didn't like Bowser's Inside Story even though it was pretty well-made and fun for a while.
Eh.
Helpp meee.

Whaaaaaaaaaat. I beat that game, still grinding characters. It's epic. BUt maybe it's just because I like these types of games, unlike you :P
Phoenix Wright? Those are kinda fun.
EDIT: Oh! And naruto games in general are good for wasting time, though battle mechanics and storyline are kind of ehh.

I just don't like the way the combat system works. I mean, there's not as much pressure, but it gets really repetitive.
And I heard from someone that Phoenix Wright was boring. What's it like?

Custom Robo Arena. The best game on the DS IMO.

You get fun combos like Ether Shell + Halve MP + Illusion spam spam spam. But yeah, you could say it's repetitive.
Phoenix Wright is like ... well, you are literally a lawyer/detective that solve cases in court. You look at evidence and stuff. There's the world famous OBJECTION! which is pretty awesome, and the music fits. You can't make too many mistakes, though, cause then the judge will throw you out.

Making list of random games here:
Games I have played:
Disgaea DS (Obviously has a gridmap though, dunno if you'd like it)
Ace Attorney series (It's not RPG or puzzle game though...)
KIRBY *Gets shot* (It's fun though)
KH 358/2 Days (Good game, but you must have at least heard of this one and formed your opinions on it.)
Professor Layton games (Really good puzzle games. With some plot. XD)
FF3, FF4 DS remakes (Pretty obvious what this one is about, dood.)
Games I have not played and I am just randomly naming:
Castlevania
Dragon Quest Series
Trauma Center (Lol)
And I will update this post a bit later, maybe.
EDIT: Phoenix Wright was pretty fun IMO. And yes, it's literally a lawyer game.
Much more epic and awesome than it sounds.

By far the worst explanation of a Shin Megami Tensei game I have ever heard
Sands Of Destruction
DragonQuest V
DragonQuest IX
Kirby Super Star Ultra.
Glory Of Heracles.

Oh.... I swear I saw Strange Journey...That game is more like Etrian Odyssey than a Shin Megami Tensei game.
I'm stupid Dx

Dragon Quest 9
FF3
FF4
Kingdom Hearts DS
Mario Kart DS
Zelda: Spirit Tracks (a lot less boring than PH)
All I can think of for now... Most of my DS games are RPGs.

Didn't play SMT: Strange Journey. The boxart... looked too weird for me to play. I don't see how SMT: Devil Survivor was like TWEWY and FF at all though... Unless by FF, you meant FFT and FFTA.
There's the Izuna the Unemployed Ninja series. Everybody complains about the games being hard, but that's only the beginning. By midgame, it's ridiculously easy. Unless you die. Then it goes to hell from there.
Haven't gone far in Dragon Quest IV for me to say anything, but I like it.
Dragon Quest V is good enough that it's the creator's favorite game. But then again, III, people were mugged for it.

Buy it. For every flaw in the overworld maps and story, the battles make up for it. And it had a random battle where you could battle with anyone over wifi regardless of friend codes. Pokemon isn't even going to have that until Black/White.
Basically just dashing around dodging attacks and all that is so fun it's ridiculous.

The DS is the best modern system for RPGs. It just has the biggest library.

the cat has Custom Robo for Gamecube
it was surprisingly worthwhile to play
The cat thinks it's more diverse than the DS version.
too bad the series isn't popular enough
The cat enjoys the different functionalities of every gun, pod, and bomb
This is the cat's personal build set
Body: Milky Way
Gun: Homing star
Pod: Ground Freeze
Bomb: Freeze
Leg: Ultimate (Illegal part but legs don't really matter)
and yes,
DS has HUGE LIBRARY OF RPGS
it's just that they're not popular.
You have to look hard for the good ones that aren't well known.

Like Sands Of Destruction.
That game is ridiculously good for a DS game.
It has the Xenogears type battle system and unlike Xenogears it is not ridiculously easy....unlike Xenogears.
