  Because when someone mentions a new Eeveelution, goshdarnit, what type it is is kind of a big deal. The Legendaries' types don't matter because they'll already be legendaries and the metagame will either deem them overpowered or underpowered. The starters' types are already at least partially known, at which point any deviations to water and grass are pleasant surprises in their final form, and fire will forever hope that it doesn't get a fourth fire/fighting combination in a row. But Eevee? Who has grass, water, electric, fire, dark, psychic, and ice under its belt? Everyone wants to know what's next, and an ambiguous new Eeveelution only makes people more curious.

  It's funny though. When this showed up on my dash I couldn't stop laughing. Now I want this pokemon even more.

  I'd be disappointed if that was flying because that doesn't look like it has anything to do with flying, however its colors (in my opinion) are p fae.

  "Sylv" is an old root that relates to forests/woods (for instance, the state of Pennsylvania, founded by William Penn is basically another way of saying "Penn's Woods." And yes, this covers Transylvania as well, which translates to "across the forest."). It doesn't just regard the trees, either. It can refer to things that live inside them or things that inhabit the forest itself. Considering that grass-types are already represented, there's a good chance the other legion-level denizens of the forest will be taking their place in the Eeveelution tree--bugs. Besides, all I see when I look at those eyes and teeth is bug type.
