I didn't notice this, but apparently the X legend is a ground-walker while the Y Legend flies apparently (according to a guy on reddit). Not going to recheck but sounds interesting enough since Chromosomes theory about X/Y mentioned earlier was interesting too.

I haven't been this outright excited about a fire type since Cindaquil! Usually the show itself wins me over to the newer fire incarnations (as it did for Chimchar and Tepig... but seriously, fuck Torchic and all its ilk), but a fennec fox has me giddy as all hell from the start! Add in that I heard we'll FINALLY be leaving Fire/Fighting final evolutions with Fennekin's final form being Fire/Psychic and this game has all of my want. Here's hoping generation 7 does something like Fire/Ghost or Fire/Poison to continue stirring the pot.
