  Can't you just send your R/S/E Pokemon to D/P/P/HG/SS, and then onto W/B, and then onto X/Y?

  Squirtle is a blue turtle with some stupid lollipop tail. Bulbasaur is disgusting, it looks like a frog with a freaking parasitic plant growing through its body. But Charmander is awful. Its just a lizard with its tail on fire. Seriously, did Game Freak not have any better ideas?

  Assuming that you have all the games/systems, also assuming that your DS isn't a DSi, in which isn't compatible with R/S/E either.
  
  But other than that, it is possible to transfer your pokemon like that.

  Well, I have the original DS so I could keep my Pokemon. Might buy a 3DS in Obtober with Y, though.

  Since I never really got the chance to play Pokemon for a long time, it doesn't feel all that repetitive to me. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this game and...Probably X. The female protagonist looks cute. Probably my favorite look.

  Not sure if it's been outright stated, mind you, but it's what everyone's money is on based on evidence from the game footage. I still have yet to find any official statement that it absolutely will be Fire/Psychic, sadly; however, evidence to the contrary is virtually non-existent.

  I'm kind of worried. A LOT of the Pokemon in Black and White were REALLY lame. Like the flying icecream and the retard lizard with pants.
  So even though these starters look nice and the YBird looks pretty cool, I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
