Does anyone have an ideal hokey setting for puppetry?
My current one is making my fingers sore from having to stretch from CTRL to the F keys... I mean, is it recommended to still keep some melee combat skills there? I still have counter and windmill on my hotkey since I use those all the time, but it makes reaching for the f5 and above keys(where I put act 1 and 2) hard.
Is there a way to make a key like R be the hotkey for Control Marionette on/off?
Here's a screenshot of my hotkey bar(I put in two Rising Actions because I'm saving one of those spots for Crisis, which I don't have yet):

Here's my set up. I have no melee skills in there at all. Been using this set up for months now.

While I was still using my human ranger and dabbled in puppets (too soon at that)
f1-f4: archer stuff
f5: control marionette
num1-5 set 1: counter, smash, windmill, defense, assault slash
num1-7 set 2: act 1, act 2, act 4, crisis, whatever that death charge is called, wire pull, puppets snare.
You can switch numkey (?) sets very quickly by doing ctrl + 1, ctrl + 2, etc. You might have to get used to doing this in battle, but it's not terribly difficult.

Control doesn't even need to be hotkeyed. Attempting to use any puppet skill while a puppet is summoned but disconnected will automatically reconnect you. To disconnect, you can load one of your own skills/gestures/actions/whatever.
I would recommend setting skills 1-9 on your skill window to letters on your keyboard if you haven't already. Skills can be rearranged in the window, but only the first 9 will save their new positions. I have this setup:
