  I think that many, many, many people, need to learn how to use the ignore list function. No matter how much you dislike someone, no matter how much they annoy you, none of you have the right to judge, insult, or harass a member. If Splatulated really bothered you all as much as you say, you'd have the sense to just remove him from your Nation lives and blacklist him.

  He isn't fishing for bullies, first off. However, even if he was, people who claim to be better than him should have enough sense to not feed the proverbial troll. Just judging from peoples' responses to him, Nationers are so easy to bait into misbehaving that it's ridiculous.

  To be fair, many of his questions lately have been pretty relevant, and things the Mabinogi Wiki or Google may have trouble finding depending on what search words one uses. He also has a relatively difficult living situation that may have actually learning to branch out a bit difficult. Splat genuinely tries to figure out why people are so annoyed and doesn't even ask as many questions as before.
  
  It's ridiculous how many people point fingers and say Splat brings this upon himself, while Splat is the one trying to be nice and still has all these bullies gravitating towards his threads just to post something insulting. You don't have to post in his threads. You don't even have to see his posts if you don't want to. But no. So many people go, "Oh, a kitty. Probably a Splat thread. Let me go in it to say how much I hate it without actually contributing anything. That will solve all the problems!"
  
  I'm tired of people's shit. Anyone insulting Splat is getting at least a moderate flaming infraction, if I don't just ban you outright. The people who've been thinking they can get away with this are going to learn very quickly that they either use the ignore function, learn self control, or just not visit this forum for a while, or forever.

  Well, a lot of things can, but there are people who try to justify rape because a woman was dressed "slutty" as if it weren't their fault they raped her, it was hers.

  The examples are different. One is a response to a personal attack. Wearing a dress or whatever isn't a personal attack. If you honestly believe that actively trolling someone is the same as wearing a dress for your own benefit, then it's not even worth reasoning with you.

  Both subjective morality and the legal system agree that different acts have different orders of severity and deserve different treatments. Again, if you disagree with this because of your own personal philosophy, that's fine.
  
  EDIT: Furthermore, I was responding specifically to the statement that people attack him because of his attitude. Here's an example:
  
  Someone comes up to me on the street and calls me a name. I respond in kind.
  
  I'm not condoning bullying - I'm saying that responding to trolling with trolling isn't in the same vein as being raped because you wore a short dress. They're not similar.
  
  If you wish to use wording and phrasing to say that I had a different meaning, go ahead. My grammar isn't the best and i'm far from eloquent. But that was the intent behind my post.
