What are you going to be using it for?
Personally I'd kick the OS (because you can get it though other means..) and the dvd burner since you can borrow a cd drive for installing the OS.
You'd save around 120 bucks or put it towards upgrading your parts. Either an i5, a better graphics card or just upgrade your hard drive.
I got a 1tb drive for 65 dollars so you can definitely double your memory for a bit more money.

I prefer the legal copy over a pirated copy, and the disk drive costs so little that there's no reason not to include it for simple utility. I'll mainly be using this for mid-range gaming, such as ME3 and Skyrim, as well as Mabinogi, Vindictus, and DragonNest.

Well, that's only one thing to think about. I can't change your mind on the topic of morality.
Personally I took a look at newegg's prices on my retailer's equivalents and the prices are noticeably higher. I'd suggest you wait till they have sales going on.
For example, my zalman z9 plus case (which i got because it was cheap) was 45 dollars and came with 4 120mm fans (newegg is 75 bucks). Your case and fan combo comes around the same price and you get half the amount of fans and it's a smaller case.

Trust me, it's definitely not a morality thing on the topic of pirating it. I just don't want to deal with the headache that, from my personal experience, comes with pirated OS.

Well, so far on my desktop, it's handling the pirated os pretty well. All you have to do is uninstall this one windows update and tell your os to never install it again. I don't get any error popups about not being authentic or whatever.
Anyhow, I saw that not many of your parts are on sale. I really recommend waiting: It's not worth it to be impatient with this stuff since your comp parts are staying with you and if you don't like the performance, you're going to regret getting a lower end product.

I'll probably give it a week or two, to see about some sales, but unfortunately, I'm not the person in control of the budget so if I don't make up my mind relatively soon, the money may be spent on something else by the person who controls it.

Since you're using Newegg I'm going to assume you're American.
Do you have a
Micro Center nearby? For 50 dollars more you can get a i5-3570k.
Also I'm not sure on the Cooler Master PSU, but since it's got good reviews I guess it's alright.

First off, I recommend staying far away from a coolermaster PSU, they rarely if eber have high end internals and you dont want to cheap out there.Second, gwt a FX six/8 core or an i5 CPU, its a much better investment, especially long term. Third, GPU wise I recommend sticking to AMD, as they bear out Nvidia in price / performance across the board san
s the gtx 670.
Lastly, I recommend the standard Z9 for a case.

Okay, this may be paranoia
but a micro ATX seems too small for good ventilations
a midtower would be helpful

You don't even need to pirate the Win7 .iso anyway, just download one of the official MS W7 iso's (
http://www.w7forums.com/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads-t12325.html). Grab an unofficial activator (
http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/24901-Windows-Loader-Current-release-information) and away you go.
Non-pirated OS (the iso's are official iso's from Microsoft), though I can't really say the same about the activation method.
Though really, I hate single-use activation keys for ANYTHING.

I personally use multi-use activation keys for my Windows 7 because of my Microsoft Technet Subscriber status that grants me CD-Keys for Microsoft Products, including stuff like Office and stuff so I'll never buy a Microsoft Product so long as I have Microsoft Technet Subscriber on. Drives me up a wall when I buy a prebuilt computer and there's always a hidden charge for an OS when I can get the OS from Microsoft's Servers in a nice ISO format with a CD-Key.
But none of that matters, what does matter is that you should STAY AWAY from an i3. Atleast get an i5, or an i7, or an AMD Processor if you don't plan on multitasking a lot and plan to focus mainly on gaming where AMD processors don't take a performance hit. AMD processors tend to slug a bit behind Intel processors when it comes to things like Photoshopping, Transcoding, Ripping, etc. I would also recommend G.Skill Ripjaws for memory as well.

Coolermaster makes great power supplies I don't understand the rant with their power supplies here. Though a CX 500 would be a little more efficient and its that if I were to buy something just go with the one with a longer warranty.
Corsair CX500
Corsair = 3 year warranty compared to coolermaster's 2 year warranty.

Here's a build for just a little over $750. If you really do want a optical drive just remove the hyper 212 evo and go with the stock cooler on the FX-4300.

Coolermaster does not MAKE power supplies, they assemble them. (Superflower, Seasonic, CWT, ETC. are the OEMs that make the actual power supply units other companies such as Coolermaster package in a metal box) Coolermaster usually uses lower end internals (from FSP, and a number of lower end OEMs) and their products span mostly just in the mid-low end of the market in overall quality.
The main brands I suggest to sticking with are; Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, Enermax, Kingwin (Gold/platinum), Rosewill (newer PSUs from 2011-), XFX, FSP, NZXT, Thermaltake, and Silverstone.
