[KR TEST] Armor masteries and stat/skill rebalancing

Skill Related

CP related Skill Adjustment
- Taunt and Sand Burst is no longer affected by CP

Good.

Alchemy Skills are now affected by Life/Mana/Stamina
- Life: Barrier Spikes, Flame Burst, Life Drain
- Mana: Shock, Water Cannon
- Stamina: Wind Blast, Frozen Blast, Sand Burst, Heat Buster

As of Gunner update, we'll be able to get 800+ of each of those stats.

Brb capping mana.

Alchemy Crystals are now combined
- You can now use all alchemy skills with the 4 basic crystals (water, fire, wind, clay)
- The skills that used special crystals (cloud, shock, golem,etc) now use 2 or more of the 4 basic crystals
- crystal-forming portion of pre-existing skills have been changed.

I came, just, give me a moment.

Casting Time Changes
- Sand Burst, Wind Blast, etc are now instant cast

This makes me happy

- Chain Cylinder activates 100% of the time but is now cooldown based

Just as long as the CD isn't lengthy

- Pressure drain has been reduced to almost insignificant levels

Pressure drain? I'm guessing thats heat buster related.

I'm actually very happy with the alchemy rework. I've loved the concept of alchemy as a skillset and i've ranked a few skills but stayed away from it earlier on because of people's advice. So i'm glad I can get my teeth stuck into it now :D

I loved using alchemy before fighter/puppets came out(Watercannon/Heat buster to be exact) But now it seems like they'll have a big increase of damage if it's based of life/mana/stamina, cause like I said, we're getting 800+ of each after gunner's release.

Yeah, we just need a Scald skill now, that burns the enemies skin off.

It should be max unless devCAT derps hard.

What if it only counts the actual stats in brackets?

It'd be based off max stats, not current.

Also, fuck, If I go DK, I'll be good in Watercannon and Gunner, but I'll miss out on sweetsweet Max damage from pally.

Why keep wearing heavy armor? Because you want to.
Why switch to clothing/light armor? Because you want to.
-35% dex? Okay like that's really going to hurt most players with the massive amounts of dex out there, NOT TO MENTION that dex now gives you armor penetration that should make up for the amount of dex you lose by a good amount with most mobs that have a fair amount of defense.

Puppet - 35% dex? LOL kay, my elf that doesn't even have a rank 1 life skill (rank 2 refine lolol) and no rank 1 range skills (all rank F), and not even a single rank 1 puppet skills (besides the big guy himself) can 1 shot HM mobs without the help of crits.

Though on that bit, I'd love to know if puppets can get armor piercing too...:point:

I'll admit I don't fully like the dex cap to 50 but eh, it's nothing big. "Oh my god I lost 5% balance. THE WORLD IS FUCKING ENDING AROUND ME!" Just chill. Breath in and out. In, and out.

As for heavy armor mastery and it's 'knock down resist' that sounds cool I guess XD;

The alch revamp is nice, not having to make crystals anymore really seems cool. I would have just made that another alch skill myself but hell, this is great.

They also reduced how much it costs to repair heavy/light armor? Woot woot.

Now if only we had a clothing mastery...*hint hint* C'mon devcat...you know you want to~
