I'm not too sure about that. I thought the patch log just said they'd remove the % sign from the char screen and enchant.
edit: nvm the new patch makes it so that prot reduces less damage the more prot you have.

Ah, sort of makes sense. Since if you somehow got 100% prot, you win the game. I imagine with some of these new masteries it might be easier to achieve 100% prot, thus the reduction to its benefit

HELL YES.
If this means that we can equip 2 accessories with a thames set then i'm...yeah. The game. I'm just going to open up my wallet and give nexon all my money to reforge one to rank 1 and get all those op things in it.
The magic attack thing doesn't effect me personally as i'm not a mage, but it's good for those mages. We'll see more of them in my runs now! Yay!
Would like a tl;dr of everything though once someone's translated it. Will rep.

I doubt they are going to give heavy armor accessories, or light armor another one. Especially if they are already buffing them with masteries

If they remove protection, it wouldn't work in the long run unless they uber-boosted the defense for all mobs.
As we are right now, we're perfectly fine, magic could use a touch-up, but we have more than enough defense and damage to even tank the larger bosses in Iria. Adding more wood to the fire would just make everything too overwhelming, and there won't be any challenge anymore to anything.
Why invest in equipment if a level 300 newb with maxed mana shield and heavy armor with a minimum of 400 Int can tank a ghast?
The newer bosses in g18, the White and black dragons only do about 100 damage maximum, and all they do is walk around and roar at everything. Their summons are more dangerous than they are, and they don't even hit that much either.

Also we're going to test a suspicion but... it's possible that having a shield can randomly ignore an enemy's damage similar to demigod <-- going to test.

I stand corrected. Still useless for archers D: but makes sense that warriors/lancers should tank lol Then again it also sucks for warriors because their dex gets cut and thus they have less balance and piercing dmg

the new heavy/light armor mastery is what gives them accessories.
planned stuff
new instruments: piano, violin, cello.
new magic skills based on staves.
new summons with alchemy.

Max balance you get from dex is 50%. The rest have to come from weapons or enchants (which isn't really that hard) !
Because of this, Blacksmithed weapons will be desirable since it gives higher bonus (more than the gacha because of talent/skill bonuses).
