  You guys are just blatantly scapegoating and trying to cling to every bit of imaginary drama that you can. And it's not the first time this forum has used an innocent person as lightning rod of hate either. If some of you are so hellbent on being negative all the time then why don't you go do something productive? Or better yet, bring it to a forum that actually cares about your needless drama.
  
  All I hear is whining about this not being done, or that being unfair.. well how about you actually sit down, bring it to the attention of a staff member and then shut up and let them handle it? 'Cause I hate to break it to you guys, but running around like a chicken with your head cut off screaming "WAHH I'M MAD ABOUT SO AND SO" doesn't get shit done. You can't complain about an issue when you don't do anything to solve it. Especially since some of you are actually contributing to the problem.

  Questions that can be answered in one Google search is spam. I don't think there's much of a question or argument about that.

  Spam is pretty subjective, but I think it's pretty easy to tell if something has any tangible use after a few posts. If it's a simple question that can be answered by 2-3 people, it's spam. If it's a thread that can start a semi-quality discussion, it deserves to stay.

  
  
  I actually agree with this. I've been getting a little bit frustrated over this too, and I've said multiple it times on Nation Skype chat if one of the mods could go talk to Splat about making too many threads. Maybe I should have PM'd one of you guys on here. I'm not so much annoyed by the fact that Splat is making too many threads (althought it is getting on my nerves), but I'm getting annoyed because members will get frustrated over this and then start some sort of thread/post or call out Splat in some random thread and then drama will occur.
  
  So yeah, as for the new admin thing. It's just been a day, chill out.

  Okay, think of it this way, when you join a forum, you have no idea who the staff are yet. You stay and are an active poster and you eventually figure out on your own whether a staff member is good or bad. Treat Ashikoki the same way.

  Like I said on the first page, most of the issues people are having can be seen just casually browsing the forums. You don't need to be paid to search for them to find it.

  Hanna, bean rua is full of what people might call retarded threads. I don't think anyone is arguing against that. But in terms of sheer numbers the amount of threads made by splat himself take things to another level. I'm pretty sure that people would be okay with his threads if he didn't make it his a daily routeen to make anywhere from 6-12+. And I feel like people would be even more okay with if his threads actually contained a story or information that he wishes to share with us with maybe 1 or 2 questions if he seriously needs our help. The only thing that really annoys me about some of his threads is when he makes a thread with a poorly written hard to understand question that with a poorly written title that could seriously be answered alot better with google, but instead he acts us and pretty much expects us to Google it for him.
  
  On the topic of threads that seem bloggy I for one like bloggy threads. They make interesting reads and I for one enjoy hearing about things that people have on there minds or stories that they wish to share with us.|

  No. I had already promised that in order to prevent the mistakes of my predecessor, I will not be directly making changes to the current forum rules. I'm following a three step plan that involves the inputs of all nation members: Propose, Discuss, Decide. This thread, along with the one we're talking in right now, are both greatly contributing to this pseudo plan which I will solidify later in an announcement. I haven't even had time to work on that because I spent a good 4 hours PM'ing individual members earlier today about their immediate complaints.

  I hear this, loud and clear. As it is quite plainly obvious that most people's complaints about "favoritism towards splat, letting him get away with spam", I'll just have to reiterate that by our current standards of what constitutes spam, he has not been "spamming", and as our enforcement are very textbook guideline styled, there were no real actions we could do other than telling him to tone it down.
  
  We'll be holding a discussion about what we want to constitute spam tomorrow and reconstruct that rule.

  You know, this is very fair and I didn't expect any less of everyone. I did not want to be connotated with TA/Falsetto, so I confirmed that I am not. However, it is an individual decision of mine to allow you all to speculate and believe I am whoever you want to be after that. To be honest, Soda Dispenser telling everyone that I was an old member might have been a mistake, since now everyone believes there is something to hide. I had a very positive reception for my first month here, so I naively believed that the overall nation community would be as trusting as I am towards others.

  I've been been an admin for a day now. In addition, I was not actually prepared when Soda Dispenser came to me the day before the maintenance and said "tomorrow at noon k thx bai". I spent 3 hours last night and 6 hours this afternoon cataloging all the reports nation has received over the past 2 weeks to determine the current staff's weakness, formulate new plans for efficient moderation, and dealing with unanswered reports by explaining to each members why their reports have gone unheard.
  
  I had planned on taking a break and constructing said plan tomorrow, but suddenly I got a burst of commotion here, so I guess I'll stay up for a while and try to get that done later tonight.
  
  You are free to judge, criticize, and challenge me as much as you want when I make the formal announcement.

  I hear this as well. Because the staff knows who I am, they were actually quite puzzled as to why I was hiding my identity, as they are well aware that I have nothing to hide. I told them about an hour ago, and it looks like I will have to tell you guys as well. It'll be a little bit more difficult to do so without giving my identity away, so I'll have to exclude a few details.
  
  But words are cheap. You may not believe me even then, and wonder if it was all just a fabrication. I cannot do anything about that, and if you were in my position, neither could you.
  
  By the time I post this, I'm sure I'll have 3 more pages of posts to respond to. I'm going to go make dinner because I haven't eaten yet and come back in an hour.
