  Thing is.. that's just your opinion. Just because you don't like the content doesn't automatically mean the content isn't good.
  
  That's like saying "ugh I hate fries so naturally that means fries suck". You can't treat something that's subjective as something that's objective. It doesn't matter if you dislike his threads, it doesn't give you (or anyone else) the right to complain about him when other people are doing the exact same thing. If you admit that you have a bias towards Hanna, then you admit that your way of thinking is bull.
  
  Not that I'm implying that you are doing that, though. But anybody who thinks what Splat is doing is somehow wrong but are perfectly okay with the stuff Hanna and other people make are, ironically, being hypocrites and using favoritism. They just don't want to admit they're wrong because OMG MY OPINIONZ R ABOVE EVRYONE ELSE BCUZ I AM SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE WHO KNOWZ EVERYTHIN AND EVERYONE WHO DISAGREE IS WONG.
  
  That and people seem to think that "opinion" and "fact" mean the same thing.

  I'll gladly accept this challenge.
  
  For every one that you find of a certain quality, I'll find another of a very similar quality from the other person. We can go for days.
  
  Bias or whatever aside, this is what makes this matter so complex. People find it acceptable because of arbitrary reasons like how more people found it interesting. Most of splat's threads do have a point, or are simply just shared images from imagur.
  
  And then there is the crowd preferences too. This is literally as spam as it can possibly get. Like, there is really nothing you could do to be spammier than this. But its a parody of a meme, a bunch of members liked it, and while just about every thread splat posts contains complaints or gets reported, these went completely unnoticed. At the same time, they seem to be having fun, and no one is being hurt, so who am I to stop that? Ultimately, mabination is a form of entertainment.
  
  Here is another example. This thread gets a complaint. Same person who complained posted this thread earlier, which is no different in its fluff nature.
  
  I need actual solid examples and guidelines, and not these arbitrary "it looks spammy enough, so..." things. I'm at the point where I'm convinced that what everyone wants isn't for spam to stop, but for us to simply get rid of people they don't like. Otherwise we can to go with a 5 thread limit and we enforce the shit out of it, which will inadvertently hit some poor user who made 6 legitimately interesting and insightful threads in a single day.

  I think that people need to come to the realization that they can't like everyone on the forums. They're not going to like everyone on the forums. Nobody likes everyone on the forums. We all have a member or two who really irk us and grind our gears.
  
  However, if your bias toward someone, whether positive or negative, causes you to be hypocritical/play favorites, it's time to ignore someone. Just like you can ignore someone who annoys you in your every day life, you can ignore someone on MN. I know you guys are tired of hearing about the ignore function, because I sure as hell know that I'm tired of talking about it, but use it. Seriously.
