After watching
this video, it looks like Uroboros not only attacks slowly and with obvious cues, but only hits you once at a time.
(4:25 - even though all three heads breathed fire, the person only took one hit)
(
Another example at 2:30)
Doesn't this mean that you could easily get through this mission by abusing auto-deadly status? Compared to Claimh, this boss looks like a piece of cake. I'm assuming Windmill dodge doesn't work, but if it does then that pretty much nullifies all the threat.
Ciar Adv looks more intimidating than this, is there something I'm missing?

Past 1k total it's very hard.

It could take a while, but I don't see how it can be hard.
Attacks are easily dodgeable, and even if you get hit you have like 10-15 seconds to pot up, and there's no wounds.

After 5 minutes or so, if you unfortunately stand in the four head's way of breath attacks, you'll die. Like, an extreme attack comes up per 5 minutes or so I hear.. :U . Unless you somehow survive it.
That is, if you got in the way.
(That video didn't have the extreme attack of the Uroboros)

1. That doesn't look like its in hard mode so I think it is a lot easier than it seems. (Just a guess). The Python enemies looked too easy to kill which lead me to believe that it isnt in hard mode.
2. Doesn't this SM have a 1 hour time limit or something?

I heard as of G11S2, the ai gets improved a bit.
And as others said, the boss does get harder after a while.

Hardmode just means more HP, more defense, and more damage.
So basically it just take longer. It's not "harder" since like I said, you can just abuse auto-deadly.

I haven't seen anything like that. Do you think you could find a video with it?

Here is a proof of what we are saying.
After a few minutes of fighting, the attack area of the breath attacks grows larger, exceeding the fireball damage area.

Breath attacks are multihit if you get caught in them, which means low hp = death.

but i bet zyrus would be able to handle it with mana shield :D
hmm from what I see, uroboros has few hp.
Maybe once you know the uroboros' ai, you could beat it before it gets harder, thus making justified's point valid.

They seem easy to dodge, except maybe the first time when you don't know what's going on - as abc said.
You'd probably die with normal HP too.
There's nothing unpredictable like suddenly getting mowed down from a huge dragon/Claihm, or hard to dodge like wing-swords-of-death or black-stomp-wave-thingy. The camera angle plus non-moving targets makes it easy to see what's going on. I was expecting something harder.

I wonder about what the wiki said. Will the breaths still be easy to dodge after it exceed fireball range? Or is that an exaggeration from a NA wiki editor who haven't fought uroboros yet.
*I heard that with decent defense/prot from upgraded heavy armor, one can tank uroboros with mana shield. Anyone have confirmation on this?

About 24 sec in you can see the multi hit effect of their attacks
