  Anyone can cast overture whenever they need it and keep it up, barely spending 2 secs between every few spawns. In a whole party full of dmg dealers taking turn casting overture in an unobtrusive and efficient manner, there is no room for a specialized support bard.
  
  Besides, the only music skill anyone ever wants to be played is overture... and whenever someone dares override it with another music skill, someone will do the right thing and cast overture again.
  
  Edit: And before anyone says "but what about mages/alch, vivace is better!" NOPE. Overture now affects the added dmg from the new formulas, making it the more useful skill for them too.

  Well I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have someone with a fully upgraded allegro lyre, battlefield overture master title, vocaloid prefix, and any number of playing boosts to play support. I don't really think this update will change anything except sideslot choices.

  A few % less won't matter considering you have an extra full dmg dealer to replace the support.
  
  A singing overture is fine too.

  It's not the whole dmg, it's only the dmg added from the new formula that gets affected by overture. As in what you get from HP/MP, etc.

  1k HP: 80 Fire alchemy damage + 30% overture = 104 Fire damage
  1k MP: 300 Water alchemy damage + 30% overture = 390 Water damage
  1k SP: 450 Heatbuster damage + 30% = 585 Heat damage
  
  Not bad really, I hope it's not a bug though.

  Not exactly true as the person who actually support the partymates with Bard and such, will give the partymates greater benefits than the ones who uses the Bard without use of instruments.
  
  I was worried about this because of how it may kill the support but... the patch didn't really hurt the support Bard too much so the Bard support are still a viable option.
