  No, I mean if you hate the whole process of doing something and in the end are still unsatisfied don't do it. I hate editing videos too, but like you said it is awesome when it is done.

  If that is what you want go for it! Put your ideas on paper. You may think you're bad at first, but like Jake said, sucking at something is the first step to being sort of good at something. You just got to keep at it, but only if you want to.
