This was very helpful, thanks!
Although, do you know how they're going to change getting EXP to rank up these skills?

Is Cressida Wear necessary? Because I really can't afford the entire set. Would I perhaps be better off a 'Pyromaniac'?

Cressaida is just nice to have, maybe for future investment, I would recommend it.
As for Pyromaniac, It really depends on your play style, if you want a single-target with long range or be AoE based with shorter range.

Hi, I just started playing Mabinogi like 2 days ago and I started an Elf Battle Alchemist. Does race have any effect on these builds? Which "Active Talent" should I have selected? I'm a little confused on how to proceed with my character.
Thank you for any help in advance!

Race doesn't really affect damage at much.
In future updates you'll wanna be in the Battle-alchemist or construct talents for additional Mana/Stamina.
Right now you should build up your char's Health/Mana/Stamina.
Though I don't recommend maining Alchemy right now, we won't be the stat renewal until fall.

Just wondering, how does wind alchemy efficency work? Does it increase damage only, or the range of wind blast or the angle/duration of frozen blast as well?

It effects All alchemy skills.

Regarding the impact of hp on Flame Burst, it seems rather miniscule - at 0.008 of your current hp, it would add a measly 4 base dmg with 500 hp.
Comparing this to Water Cannon and 0.3 of current mana, at 500 mana you would get 150 dmg, more than the current base dmg for water cannon.
Am I simply misunderstanding how the damage is calculated?

It's 0.
80% of your Health, 500 HP = 40 base damage while 1k HP = 80 base damage.

:o I would write that as 8%, or 0.08. I interpret 0.8% as 0.008. Might just be a difference in notation?
Thanks for the clarification, that's reassuring.
