Baseless Rumours. I haven't heard anything in that regard. Besides Lances already got nerfed a bit with the balance update. At least on very high protection mobs.

All I know is that I heard a lot of complaints when the Balance came out from people who were hitting very hard numbers not being able to hit those same numbers after the update.
Lances were rather blatantly buffed, to say otherwise is ridiculous. They do more damage on almost every single monster in the game, including the majority of bosses. For the certain monsters where lances are worse off you could easily switch weapons, avoid fighting them, or just deal with slightly lower damage. The rumor that they were being nerfed sprouted because in some pole on KR people voted that they believed lances were OP and should be nerfed. There has been no indication of devCAT developing a lance nerf yet though.

I've heard stuff about lances getting nerfed, or people talking about lances getting nerfed over in KR.
Is this likely at all? What's the situation in regards to this?
Theres been many polls over in KR about nerfing Lance piercing, nothing from the devs though.

So I heard that getting Mage/Cleric/Apothecary to Master will allow you to rebirth into Druid for free. I looked in the druid topic and all it says is that this will unlock it as a hidden talent icon. So I guess it's safe to say that this doesn't let you rebirth into it for free?

Well ya when I said at least on high protection mobs that's what I meant. Lances got buffed in most cases except when the protection of mobs gets up there and then it starts to lose out.

Nope, you never get a hero talent for free unless it's the first talent you make a new character with (and even then, you have to pay to maintain it if you try to rebirth). As you said, you only get a hidden talent title for free and the hidden talent title isn't give if you JUST use the hero active talent.

How many items are in the cooking journal in KR now?
I heard they have over 260. (compared to our 179)

I don't understand this explanation:
Phantasmal Chorus allows the user to sing while playing an instrument.
When used, a duration bar will appear under where your health bar should be. You must use a music buff skill during its duration to activate it.
Using Playing Instrument, Singing, Music Jam, or Choir will not activate it. Other players can see the duration bar.
A circle will appear on the ground when it has been successfully activated at the feet of the caster.
The circle buffs players within the circle as well as players who enter the circle.
Multiple circles from people in the same party will stack if the buffs are different. If the same buff is used, the most recent one is taken into effect.
The passive Music Buff Effect from Singing is used rather than Playing Instrument.
The buff/debuff circle does not disappear if the player stops performing.
[See Videos tab for example]
Effects
Hymn of Life - Improves player regeneration of HP, MP and stamina per second.
Ode of Sighs - Reduces movement speed, stats, attack and casting speed.
The following skills activate the following secondary buffs:
Hymn of Life
Enduring Melody
Harvest Song
March Song
Ode of Sighs
Battlefield Overture
Vivace
Lullaby
So Phantasmal chorus requires an instrument but uses the buff from singing (so no reforge, duration from instrument or enchants, or possibly even from talent), and only lets you use one different buff per person?
I hope i'm misinterpreting. Can someone clear this up?

We do not currently know if instrument upgrades or talent bonus currently contributes to singing or phantasmal, but clothing enchants should.
One phantasmal gives the player 1 buff +ode or hymn. If you use Encore, you can reset the cooldown and use a second phantasmal that does not overwrite the first (so long as it is a different skill).
Did that explain it?

Yeah. Didn't know about the encore thing - so you can still use vivace + overture solo before say, a martial arts round starts.
That's okay then. Thanks!

By starting, i hope you mean where they spawn, because you need to be in the circle to receive the buffs i believe? Or is that not the music buff, just the chorus buff.

Does this mean that to get a Hero talent icon, you have to Master the 3 relevant talents? Or do you get it from rebirthing with the card?

I believe you have to master all of the three talents.
Have fun with close combat. :>
