  They have no plans for egos.
  
  As of a previous blog written by a GM in KR, devCat has no plans on adding any new spirit weapons or weapon categories for a while. Their manpower is more focused on debugging and content creation such as the renewal of Iria.

  If they make another Ego, they need it to make it worthwhile. These days, the ego's keep getting outclassed and all the money/effort put into them gets invalidated it. If they are going to continue making spirit weapons, make the current ones less useless >.>

  I agree. They do plan to rebalance the current weapons in the future, but adding new ones is not on their priority list.

  They'd need to make an ego 2h have 400 max and 2 piercing or something to make it "rebalanced".

  All egos should be good, not just the ones you like. So no, just adding new ones while doing nothing for the old ones doesn't solve the problem.

  Those weapons don't have a Leagamariathing or Belsphalprmarizer version (I forgot about the lance. The knuckles i'm not sure of the stats of.)
  
  So once we get super OP non-ego versions of those, we won't need egos of those.

  I second this. Although a big part of the problem comes from gach. The only things that outclass the 1h sword ego's aside from Sword of Elisnore which would normally make a good partner to it, are those blasted OP Beam Swords (Last Gach spat them out by the dozens. I ended up with a couple of those and one of them was the Beam Sword), also the Tear-Jerker Upgraded Green Onion also tops the sword egos.

  Which costs more time/money? Making the new Dragon Weapons or raising an ego to max?
  
  If they made Ego's cheaper/easier to rank, I wouldn't have much beef with it, but the fact that I have to actively spend a lot of money and time to rank the dang thing, is a huge turn off.

  And as for the different types of egos. I have a ring bow ego that I reforged myself from rank 3 and have been raising. So it's not that I don't like them at all.
