Specific music skills trigger either Ode of Sighs or Hymn of Life.

Combining music skills which trigger Ode of Sighs stack but Ode does not stack.
Combining music skills which trigger Hymn of Life stack but Hymn does not stack.
Combining music skills which trigger Ode of Sigh and Hymn of Life will cause all effects to stack.

ie:

Battlefield Overture + Vivace = Battlefield Overture + Vivace + Ode of Sighs
Enduring Melody + March Song = Enduring Melody + March Song + Hymn of Life
Battlefield Overture + Enduring Melody = Battlefield Overture + Enduring Melody + Ode of Sighs + Hymn of Life

The benefit of singing out of instrument is pretty nice...

If anything being able to use overture 24/7 with any equipment is probably better than any stats.

I can only answer one of your questions:
According to the Skill Description you can't use Phantasmal Chorus without an Instrument or Microphone, so Bards will still have an Use after this other than the fact that you can't really get Music Buff boosts on anything other than Instruments and Microphones

But yeah.... Still curious about why the Concert Standing Microphone is the only one with a Reforge-tag ._.

and Kenero, the Statless Skill in this update is Encore, Singing provides Dex xD
