The old reward system when people bring their pets, and alt in just to hit a few times then get reward is plain stupid. I'm glad devcat implement this new boss reward system.
One of the problems is that healers have little to no chance of receiving full points unless people die a lot and choose "wait for rescue" instead of "Revive right here", and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
And people will eventually find a way to "face-roll" the new field bosses, just like they always have.
Desert Dragon and Alligator will be really easy especially when they will no longer run away.
The only times we really get party play "forced" upon us, is during RP-style events.
One way to possibly bring party play into bossing is by having players become unable to switch weapons as soon as the fight begins, and that way they will have to decide on their roles.
Of course, not many people would like that, Mabinogi is meant to be "limitless", after all.
