I think Sand Burst forces them to noticed aggro state, instead of completely dropping it altogether.

Haven't tested because even after all this time, I don't have the spare AP to invest in Alchemy.

No, I knew that. Was referring to the underlying mechanics mixing with Raincasting.

Operating under the assumption that DevCAT is lazy/economical/whatever and would just re-use old code that all mobs are compatible with, instead of making something new.
