For the Int/Mp, yes.

I think if you're a mage and you have some spare AP, you should rank them.

+40 Mp for capping all 4 of them. Basically one of those skills that you rank after your essentials are maxed.

Natural is really good if you combine it with mana shield.
That'll give you enough time to send pets out and stop the aggro even against multiple archers who have you. (You might get away with doing that against 3 archers, but not 4. Best used when two bone archers aggro you in shadow missions.)

This, same for Ice/Lightning.Fire shield.
Espically if you got spammed by the bolts.
I love how people goes all "oh this crap is so useless" when it isn't.

I totally agree. People don't think it's that useless when I save them with it.
Though if I were to recommend just one shield, it would be Natural.
It's not very often that people get multi-ed by bolt casting monsters. Getting multi aggro from archers happens a lot more.

They need to improve the magic shield skills. The vast majority of players ignore them. The defensive properties aren't that great either. In 95% of situations, you're better off just preventing/killing the opponent that's going to attack you instead of tanking the attack. It currently takes three players with capped shield skills to negate an element. That's almost 40% of the max party size. What I propose isn't overpowering, it's fair.
1. Uncap all magic shield skills.
2. Increase the defensive properties of magic shield skills from -50% at r1 to -75% at r1. That makes it actually useful when playing solo.
3. Starting at r1, allow players to walk with magic shield skills activated. The shield will follow the player as they move and will cancel the moment the skill is deactivated.
It won't happen, but it should.

I was gonna say that, but I didn't want to seem like a creepy person who just agrees with everyone in this thread.
But now that you've said it I can say it too.

This is going beyond off-topic, but I happen to maintain a running list of improvements that I wish DevCat would implement.
1. Features:
Mainstream Quests
- Allow Elves and Giants to complete Generation 1 and Generation 3.
- Update earlier mainstream quests to match the quality of newer mainstream quests.
Exploration- Significantly increase the amount of experience and exploration experience earned by completing exploration quests (500%).
- Increase the amount of exploration experience earned by completing Iria dungeons (300%).
Pet Rebirth
- Each pet rebirth increases the level cap for all skills by one. (ie: Combat Mastery is capped at r6. After a rebirth, the new cap is r5.)
- The level requirements for reaching higher skill ranks becomes easier. (ie: If combat mastery reaches r6 at level 30, a pet would be able to reach r5 at level 30 the following rebirth.)
- After a single rebirth, the companion bonus never degrades.
- Every rebirth increases the summon time by ten minutes.
General Improvement
- Correct various translation/grammatical errors
2. Skills:
Magnum Shot
- Improve crossbow damage to 600% at Rank 1.
Magic Shield (All)
- Uncap all magic shield skills.
- Improve damage reduction. (33% at Rank 6) becomes (50% at Rank 6, 75% at Rank 1).
- Starting at r5 give the player the ability to walk when using a magic shield. The shield centers itself on the player when moving.
Sharp Mind
- Remove skill cap.
- Starting at r9 the player gains the ability to view the information (Total level, Exploration level, Current level, Stats, Skills) of players with equal or lower CP.
