You're just being unnecessarily paranoid, really.
The Free trail doesn't even ask for one bit of your personal info when you try it.
You just download it and enter "Free Trial" as your login name.

It's not that i'm worried about. It's that they can read your information as you tunnel it.
How can you test your ping with the thing?
I never actually figured out how to ping.
And I highly doubt they're looking at you're information at all, other than the size of the packets you send and how long it takes.
I think you have a completely rong view of VPNs, I've never heard of any that are being used for stealing/leaking your info.
Here is some delicious literature on VPNs.
For the same reason, i reformatted my hard drive before sending my laptop to the maint guys. Just in case they peeked around in it.
I'm really paranoid.
Also, I don't get what that link's supposed to be showing me ;~;

I probably shouldn't tell you that reformatting doesn't actually remove all traces of data then. I probably shouldn't tell you that the only way to completely eliminated data is to the physically destory the harddrive. Hehehe.
Seriously, you worry too much. You don't even need an antivirus if you're careful with what you click on. VPN technology itself seems quite safe, more safe than the wifi you use at McDonalds.
I'm assuming you worried the company might sniff out your account details and hack it? Unlikely if it's a reputable service, else it would only hurt it's customer base.

It's supposed to show you that it's safe, VERY safe.
Does it look like I had anything bad happen to me while using WTFast at all?
I don't see how these are bad things, CJ just spams that Screenshot button like no other.
You should see his screenshot folder, you'd be scared to get near him in Mabinogi.
Either way, you should really give some VPNs a try, you might be amazed.
....or not, we'll see.
Bad things:
-You farting at the NPC and killing it via a glitch. That's bad.
-Nirn's hair. That's really fucking bad.
-Whites with a sword. That's bad.
-You lying dead in a pile of live goblins. Nuff said.
Are you really running out of reasons to go against using a VPN?
That was also not an NPC, it was a Crystal Golem.
No, I was merely going out on a limb and trying to be humerus.
Security is my real major concern. And I don't think you should be saying that you don't use an antivirus as evidence :u
