  It makes no sense how the girls are attracted to him. He's physically unattractive, lacks self confidence, a huge cry baby, and initially envious of others for example his childhood friend (such a lady killer).
  
  I've read Accel World, I personally only liked it because of the stories and drama with the other characters. Haru is kind of just there.

  Kinda the same here...
  I dropped Accel World simply because I couldn't get over how the main character looked.
  I don't mind that he's fat, I would actually have found it interesting, but the fact that he looks like some type of mutant compared to everyone else just kills it for me. If he was proportionate, it would've been better imo.
  I'll probably give the show another try later on though.
