1k is a drop in the bucket compared to the others here.
I can bring back some old friends now, that makes me happy.
Also level 1,000 is a good break point where you can "truly" feel your character and stop worrying on trying to simply survive.
With Duncan's free reset, anyone can correct their "bad build" early on.

I'm just worried that like the 1 week free rb will NA mabi even be able to do something like daily free rbs to 1000? Maybe when this is released premium cards and more limited pets will start coming out. WHICH THEN I'M ALL FOR IT.
I want that mini thunderbird..

Raising the beginner limit isn't a big deal. It's most likely a flag they just have to change. Frankly they won't lose out on much and overall will be a bigger gain. Nexon likes to implement things that encourages beginners to stick around.

Pretty much.
Free daily RB to level 1,000... then free weekly RB for a week forever.

I think this plan is actually at odds with the hero and elite character cards that Nexon would be trying to sell at the same time. Elite card would give you a character instantly at 1.2k. However, if you, like me, either have alts that you have not leveled or touched since creation, or have not created all your 'assistant' characters yet, then there becomes no point in buying an elite card anymore unless you want another human.
I've wanted to get an elven alchemist rolling when elite cards come out, but I think now I can just pick up my almost-300-year-old elf and almost catch him up in about 2 weeks, even with light playing on him.
Or I can just have my main (who is an archer) start building up alchemy. I'm still considering that option because when I tried it in G9, alchemy was fun.
Of course, you can also just ignore this if you aren't 2k yet. This WILL help newbies, but for people that are somewhat up there and considering an elite character card, this could be a point of contention in that intended market.

The only problem I have about 1000 level daily Rb is that those newbies are gonna whine more with what we consider mediocre.
What I'm saying is, they get their needs way too easily and if something's a just a bit more time consuming, they might complain.
For example, take a look at windmill. Many of us have trained it before destinies and rework came, and we were fine with that. Now there are people who complain about current windmill training requirement, and well, we already know how many of us feel about that.

It will always be that way, It's nearly impossible to please everyone which I can see that's what devcat's goal seems to be here.

We finally got it translated. Looks like the deal for beginners got sweeter.
Summon a pet? All hunger gone! Great news for pets like the Flamemares and Vespas. Unsure if this applied to partners too.
They even get free shadow crystals from Total Level 50 - 1,000
They also get free bags as well as more free enchants and equips.

[S]Dead Bees and Broken Eggs are the most useful items in the game. We must raise the stack to 20 or else the people will suffer!![/S]

I was never once okay with WM training back in the day. It made me HATE this game. I lost the will to play for weeks on end after just a few hours of grinding. Why? Because without rank 1 WM you were basically lolweaknoob to everyone and everything. Rank 2? NOT GOOD ENOUGH NOOB SHIT'S GOING TO WRECK YOU CUS YOU'RE NOT FAST ENOUGH WITH LARGE WM RANGE!!!!!!
I finally said "Fuck what everyone else thinks, fuck what everyone is yelling at me to do, and fuck trying to use WM like everyone else." And started having fun with the game once more! I was still weak and died a LOT more than most of my friends that has R1 WM but....ANYTHING was better than spending a few hours in TNN grinding that shit.
A few months ago I RB'd my elf as a warrior and trained WM to rank 1 in less than 2 days. ELF WM in LESS THAN TWO DAYS. It went by so fast I didn't even care that I was grinding. It was FUN watching the exp for it raise in a few runs of basic/int SCC with a single -500cp cooking pot. Almost to total 2-3k and she was able to breeze through it like it was nothing. Before destinies it took my giant with the same -500cp pot and several trips through math dungeon, around 2-4 weeks to grind that crap.
Any who, it doesn't mater what you do. People will complain over anything. It's apparently just what we do.
Also, that puppet fix. <3 thank you!~

All the positive reactions to raising beginner to 1k surprises me. I mean, sure, it will help get beginners into the game, but... Since they already got weekly rebirth, now how long will it take them to get to endgame?
Well, I guess it's not so bad though. It's not like you can get to endgame with just AP - there's a lot of skill grinding to be done, and in some cases it can still be plenty challenging, though that's mainly just for some life skills... And rather than being challenging, those just mainly require patience... Meh, whatever.
