  I don't get how this is for free. I believe people have said that the magic tab alone costs like 6k+ AP? And that does not even constitute a third of the skills you would need to rank to get all of this 3k. Most people will not be getting anywhere near 3k from this update when it comes around. I, at least, probably will not. I only have one Master talent and all the others are currently at Great or below. You guys make it look so easy to get most of them to Master and all, but it's not that easy. At least not for me...

  It's "free" in the sense that you're just given ap for ranking up skills and 3k AP is a lot. You're just randomly given AP as opposed to right now.

  The part I'm concerned about is, people can now show off talent ranks that isn't their active talent, showing how strong/weak they are unless they disable the journal. And you still cannot disable just part of the journal, all or nothing.

  You could always show off talent ranks that weren't your active one, it's just one at a time... Or am I reading this wrong? Also, I don't see how being able to show it off is that much of a problem...

  Like because talents are recorded in your journal now and you only have the option on either enabling it or disabling, the talent icon you have above your title is practically useless other than an immediate indicator.
  
  Not all people like showing off their talents, but journals is a different thing. With this update you can't opt to show part of the journal and exclude the talents

  It's not the showing off that's the problem, it's that you can't withhold showing off those ranks without completely turning off your journal. At least with talent titles, you get to only show off one at a time and choose which one that is. There are some people like my friend who has master in nearly all talents and chooses to wear his weakest talent to seem inexperienced, this upsets him (not that I don't bring up they can see his total in the journal, but as I said, they have yet to add a feature that only enables part of the journal).

  Has absolutely no bearing on me unless they release future talents, since mine are... rather high.

  Considering we already can't edit what we show and what we don't, this shoudln't be a 'new problem' people are going to hate. I never put any thought into it but there are some current things I'd like to opt out of showing if I ever did turn my journal back on. Like the fact that I haven't done G9+ on my elf, or G12 on my human or giant, or the total level bit.

  Come to think of it that's gota be by one of my mabi friends never turns on his journal. He doesn't tell anyone his total ever. XD; Just a random number (But we totally think he's like 5-7k+ XD)
