SP Increase for Fiona is hax.
Shield Rush does ridiculous amounts of damage, or you could even spam Shield Bash like a mad man stunning a boss all the time.
So there, thanks Brad for the update, it was obvious the sacrifice thing was not the only THING paladin had. Now I have no doubt if I want to go Pally or DK.
And latent power sounds interesting.

That Petrification thing sounds nifty as well, though the thought of making tons of missiles come out sounds really nice as well =D

Text color being light blue makes it a pain to read =/

I know what I am getting...
Also, I wonder how devcat will be able to make the 2nd trans look more epic than the first, because the first looks pretty damn awesome.

if those of you who feel the entire broken armor set thing is a negative, just carry around a campfire. i usually do that anyway for big boss battles, what with the armor and *low* damage boost, but most importantly that anvil that comes with it. so if you feel 10 ap isn't whats holding you back, but rather the crap defense that follows a de-trans, campfire gives an awesome replacement for it.

It's likely that you'll have killed the boss by then

I'm wondering if anyone's seen a Dark Knight Fiona yet, if not, I'm gonna go into it. I really don't care all too much whether or not either transformation helps what class more. I might post a video onto here with my Dark Knight Fiona when I get the chance.

My DK Fiona most definitely feels great. I'm actually quite happy with how she turned out. I actually don't like the color scheme of Paladins, so I'm pretty content.

This information is somewhat outdated...
Paladins have the same +150% SP gain as Dark Knights, at the least (not 50%). The talent that brings magic missile up to 6 targets is also missing.
Rather than referring to this thread for your information about transformations, I suggest this one in the general discussion:

I went with pally, and I'm pretty sure the huge stat boost to both classes will nullify the damage difference. 2.5k more attack will be of small significance after the 2.5k stat boost from the "latent powers" skill + the stat boost you get from transformation. On the other hand, no main attribute increases defense, so paladins will always have more defense than dark knight. Also, I'm an Evie, and part of that is looking cute, dark knight is so not cute =O.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I am still a bit confused by these.

While the second half of this statement is true, I believe you're forgetting about Agility (AGI). Likewise though, dark knights will always have more attack than paladins for the same reason (despite how negligible these differences will become).

Yea, I regretted writing that as soon as I hit enter. Knew I was forgetting about something -_-. OK I lied, I pretty much made up the first half of that argument, my real motive behind choosing Pally was their looks, not a fan of the dark seething look that DK has.

I'll say this much...
If DK gets +2500 Att / M. Att...
And Pally gets +2500 Def...
And BOTH get +2500 STR, AGI, WIL, and INT...
And vindictuswiki.com is correct on exactly how stats affect Att, M. Att and Def...
And the basic stats of the transformation (with no skill ranks) is the same either way...
Then Pally will be granted a larger percentage boost to defense vs. the percentage boost DK has to Att and M. Att.
Also, I picked DK largely on looks alone. :awesome:
