Look at the circle jerk in the Post your Skills thread for my definition.

If you ask me what's end-game in Mabinogi...
It's when you reach a point where the game isn't fun anymore because you are overpowered. Too overpowered for all of the content in game.
And yes, that does not mean you need to hit Rank cap for all your skills. It just means you beat the game.
That's what end game really stands for. Hitting rank cap, maxing your stats and reaching perfection is nothing but mastery of the game itself. End game is when you reach a point it isn't even close to being a challenge, nor is it fun anymore.

I agree with this:
Quote from Kingofrunes;1177720:
I personally think end game is being easily to clear all the released content with ease. Anything above that is absolute overkill that isn't necessary.
For me at least, everything that I still needed to rank like lifeskills just felt like extra work to pretty up my damage.. My only set was a bohemian set that was clean and one precise lilly. There really isn't a need to go any further, at around 4k nothing gives you any challenge except a forest purification and MA. But that's really it and there isn't much reason to really spam them except for more exp and more ap which leads to grinding life skills all day which is not fun. Unless its cooking, and even that can still be a drag. I feel endgame is easy once you can solo every hardmode mission. You don't really need to do anything else after.
I don't see the point in min, maxing anymore until devcat actually starts to add reasons to do so.. And I don't feel abyss dungeons were really what the game needed.. I feel like those will end up like lord missions.

In a game like mabinogi I find it rather difficult to give a solid definition of end game. They built their game to have an (almost, which can be eliminated with enough time and dedication) infinite progression system. With rebirths in an actual mmorpg, end game becomes a lot more difficult to point out as opposed to a game with a set level cap, when it's rather easy to define end game as being that level, or being able to participate in content that requires that level. If I had to pick something, I would go with the ability to clear the most difficult content in the game with some kind of ease.

[SPOILER="How it's going to be"]

If endgame for Mabinogi means getting every skill to rank 1, it's never going to happen so as long as the devs keep pumping out new skills/talents. Hell even some people play for collecting clothing and you all know how that's gonna work out.

[S]Go away you 10k+ total[/S]
But anyway that means that even if you got everything
right now all to rank 1, you're not "end game" so as long as in the future there are more skills/talents coming. But if you don't care about that then you can consider yourself in end game already.

Sorry not me, but I'm about 1.5k AP away.

Just have every skill at r1, and then have several thousand AP floating.
There are a few people like that.
There are people who are almost 20k total as well.
The only problem is getting the reforged equipments if you don't have the NX/gold.

End game for me...hm, it'd have to be just clearing the "end-game" content without much problem. I mean sure it's nice to have every tab done, but if you're capable of running what's considered difficult just fine then I don't think there's much need to over kill things. But, I will say my definitions of end-game and "pro" are different.
Mabi is adding content (albeit slowly) but, as long as you can beat said content I believe you're fine even if it's with just 1 or 2 skill sets. Enchants and stats are really all that matters to me, I don't think reforges would be considered in my endgame since they're not needed to do well.

Pretty much this.
Capping all the skills is more of a personal goal kind of thing.
