They have that. It's called a border collie, i.e. give us money for convenience.
Also you have to be super careful that it doesn't wander too far between looting to trigger fireball aggro, and summon time becomes a factor.

The amount of time in play in a day is usually less than a pets summon time so maybe I'll look into that. But if it just goes into the pets inventory then it's delaying the issue as I'll still have to move the stuff over to be useful.

I was actually talking about this the other day! My idea (which i'm sure has been brought up at some point or another by now) was to allow giants to move while using wind guard as well as not limiting the skills you could use with wind guard up. Can i get some wind guard + bash in my life please?

Thinking about the current state of Mabi, Alban mobs'll still say hi to you, so I'm not seeing the big issue of that being too OP. HM/Elite missions get destroyed in the first place, Lord is meh, Abyss is also meh (Fk those insta-aggro sprites though). Perhaps someone else can chime in.

We have the ability to RUN with defense with a shield. Being able to walk with Wind Guard, as well as use more skills with it, wouldn't be overpowered at all. That said, being able to Charge, Evade, move a very large distance with Wind Guard wouldn't be ideal.
Defense right now is the overpowered one, since it reduces all damage by a very large percentage to where it out-defends Wind Guard.

Yes please, walking windguard 3: . . . I'm surprised they didn't make bash usable in windguard already. . .

The amount of un-updated clothing and armor. I remember they went back and redid the basic leather boots and premium newbie wear (when that was a thing) but they've never done graphical upgrades since then. It would be nice to see some of the classic outfits retooled to fit the higher resolution of mabi items now. A lot of old stuff looks outdated and frankly I'm just disappointed when I get an ugly, low poly, torks wear from a chest or something. Even npc clothes like succubus garb aren't really that great.

Actually the reality is much more anger inducing. They DID redo the Tir Chonaill NPCs clothes AND HAIRSTYLES (and some Dun and I think like one Emain), but they didn't update the player versions. The higher poly-better texture-models are only to be used by NPCs and they even acknowledged that they didn't make it available to players so they know that we don't have them.

I'd say no to the movement, but allow a few more skills to be used while active, and change it to auto-pulsate taunts at your current rank (faster than the normal cooldown would allow and without locking your movement to animate).
Wind guard is meant to be a "final" tank skill. You bring the entirety of the battle to you. Auto-taunting would cement this and remove the need for movement. A bit of tweak to taunt to force ranged and caster AIs to try and punch you once with melee fixes that problem. Access to a few other skills such as rage impact, smash, bash, stomp, and counter lets you fight more reasonably from the stance.
One last change would be to have wind guard allow defense to be used and not cancelled upon taking a hit. This allows the option for the original true use of wind guard. With a vales shield you become fully invincible, but can't move or react at all. You simply take all the aggro for a while and let your allies pick off the mobs.

Either Devil Cat need to make tanking viable against the high end mobs or give Giants alternative relevant damaging skill. Right now the only ways Giants can stay relevant in terms of DPS are Bash, Smash with reforge and combo cards, WOTG or Firebolt, none of which are unique to them.
I'd say making tanking viable against the high end mobs is the better answer here, as it seems that Giants weren't designed to be DPS heavy race anyway.

Wind Guard should just be non-stop no-knockdown windmilling that you can move freely with, and on top of the defensive bonuses you also get life steal as a % of damage dealt.
Sad thing is that Final Hit would probably still be more OP.

It would be nice if giants could have the identity of a tank but in reality there is no need to tank any mobs in SMs and everywhere else we would just die anyways at that point the problem isnt the skill but the game and thats a whole different issue.
