That would be ridiculously broken and put Final Hit to shame. Plus there aren't many moves that cancel defense to begin with (due to a glitch, so claims Nexon), so we're already capable of tanking Red Dragon and Master Lich.

You wouldn't even need vales to accomplish that. I don't mind hits that inherently knockdown but there should be some that directly pierce defense and hell,
deal extra damage if you decide to attempt using it.
It'd also be a minor help to folks who use firebolt. Normally a monster will just keep attempting to use defense after getting its shit slapped with firebolt. Rather annoying.

Don't hate me but I kind of think they shouldn't focus on wind guard and instead give giants a focus on damage. You can't have on race be centralized in both defense and damage if they're jack-of-all-trades master-of-none-tier stats.

How does it defeat the purpose of taunt? It pulls from your rank of the skill, it just auto-executes every so often as part of the wind guard without you needing to animate for it. Using the skill on its own is for times when you are not in wind guard.
I don't see it as being broken at all. The skill was originally MEANT for that purpose, letting you tank anything in the game taking 1s. Modern mobs have insane numbers, but making the defense bug into an intentional feature of the wind guard skill as a temporary "invincible" stance at the cost of being able to act on your own gives it a good niche. Final hit is the master of DPS against a stunnable target. Final shot is the master of DPS against AHS targets. Why can't we have a final skill that's the master of supportive
defense against non-raidboss AIs instead?

I don't know about tanking, but I think it'd be nice to have some kind of passive adv heavy sander type of ability. It is ridiculous that someone as strong as me can be pushed off by a tiny fox. If we can dish out the big numbers in damage, we should be able to absorb some of it and shrug off tiny enemies.

@ the entire subject of making giants more tank based ... tanking is pretty worthless in this game. I'd rather see them get rid of full swing charge time, make it one bar for min - max damage % instead of multiple, switch skills like ... wind guard for in trans, and full swing as the giant "final" skill. HEY, THEY CAN EVEN RENAME IT TO "Final Swing". I really dislike the sound of final swing, but I need to make it sound appealing to devcat.

Probably the most little gripe I can ever have:
If I go to my skill tab and look at "unlearned" skills, the dark knight Trans skill is in there. And it will always be there. I can never ever clean this tab out entirely unless I become DK T.T I don't want to. My flashy white armor and wings are too good for me.
