1. Remove all of the terrible rewards from the Black Dragon Raid.
2. Contribution is based exclusively off damage output.
3. Reduce the number of enemies which spawn with the black and white dragons.
4. Remove elemental reforge immunity.
Raids don't really need help. People will still run the white and black dragon raids for Bhafel Hunter materials and rare enchants, though I agree that these particular raids could be improved.
Lord Missions, Renes Egg-Guarding, Forest Purification, Falias, Wine Missions, Secret Missions, and Dungeons are in need of much more help than any raid boss.
This game has turned into 35% shadow mission, 15% NPC, 10% Iria Raid, 40% fuck around in Dunbarton. We have a lot of content already in the game...DevCat just needs to make said content both challenging and rewarding. It turns out that it's pretty difficult to balance the content in your game when the majority of its best rewards are obtained through a slot machine powered by your coin purse.

Ehh, maybe 1/4th of your contribution. If you're going to smaller raids thats like 7k across all channels, for WD/BD that's 2k. 8k/4k exploration exp per raid is a bit broken.
Not with the treasure hunter revamp.

Wait, why remove elemental reforge immunity? The game is moving away from elemental reforge slowly.
Lower HP and/or Lower Protection would increase the damage of people without relying on reforges.

Talents with elemental reforges are grossly outclassed by talents without them when you negate said reforges.
I'm not opposed to compromise.
Removing the elemental immunity of the enemies that the black and white dragons spawn would be effective enough.

Couldn't agree more than this-- whats the point of having contents if the best rewards come from gacha? Remember the days when people rushed Avon dungeons to get 1,500 snow spider's web just to make a rosemary gloves? Well no one even dares to step into Avon missions unless they have a GM mission, do they?

The raid system is fine. People not wanting to go because they think a chance at a 15m item drop is not the system's problem.
Damage taken is so extremely low at White Dragon that it's incredibly hard to die. Black Dragon's instant -100 hp stomp is retarded though.
The only problem with removing the skill use contribution is that new/weak players wont be able to get points. I would say to remove the cap on damage contribution but then it'd be op for soloists to get 100,000 contrib/2M exp on Gator.
Personally, the only non-spoonfeeding way to improve raids (and events) is to make them use the
Gesture Event system. Get tickets by participating, pick what you want, then have a dice roll determine your fate.

I'm thinking:
- One of each dragon at a time for each server on random channels, with the spawn broadcasted throughout the server
- A cap on how much players can participate at a time
- A queue system to prioritize players who have not participated in a particular raid during that real time day yet
- Have them spawn twice the amount that they currently do

Both dragons is spawned at a certain time, and both at almost all channels. There are messages of them being spawned broadcasted throughout each channel.
Pointless on cap of players if there are no players going in the first place. Same for queue system.
Why spawn twice the amount if noone even goes for the first time??

Hmmm what I meant was, there will only be one of each dragon throughout the entire server. If hardly anyone goes, it will funnel the population into a channel where there are like minded people that do want to participate in it. The cap is mainly for weekends or if there happens to be an update on their drops and the demand for raiding goes up.
My suggestion was adding to previous statements about how the drops should be better, theoretically increasing the amount of people participating. I'm sorry for not adding that.

Get rid of summons from B/WD.
Return Ifrit's ability to be stunned.
Allow pets and partners in the raid zone.
Improved experience and gold for Giant Sandworm, Mammoth, and Yeti
Improved drops from Giant Sandworm, Mammoth, Yeti, Ifrit, Giant Lion, and Prairie Dragon.
I don't think Black or White Dragon even die on Tarlach anymore, unless they're summoned.

Raids are stupidly waste of time. If you want people to participate in something, gotta make it worth while.

Apply to all raids except Black PoS and White Chicken (mostly):
-2x HP (500k HP -> 1m HP) for Prairie Dragon (This thing just melts too fast for anyone to cap contribution).
-Raid crystals added to reward list. Comes in a stack of 3.
-Flying pets are not desummoned when flying over a raid zone. Once the pet lands, it is automatically desummoned and no pets can be summoned unless you get out of the zone
-Make Bosses 50% elemental immune (Again with them dying too fast to be able to cap contribution.)
-Increase gold reward from 31.5k (cap contribution) to 40k (cap contribution)
-Increase EXP reward from 157.5k (cap contribution) to 200k (cap contribution)
-Decrease Fireball explosion range of Prairie and Desert Dragon (Right now you need to run fifty million miles away to not get hit.)
-Raid Crystals now adds 100% (normal), 125% (fine), 150% (finest) of the gold and EXP reward (The current system is 80% (normal), 100% (fine), 120% (finest).)

Raids are worth it if you have crystals. They're still worth doing even if you don't have crystals. Capping at dragons gives 31.5k per dragon and crystals essential double that amount. Doing a dragon on every channel gives 396.9k - 487.1k depending on what type of crystal you use and whether or not you cap or not.

[S]Not if you spend 90% of the time making people mad at raids :D[/S]
The money gained from regular Iria raids is somewhat worth it if the boss falls within 5 min and if you get at least 4000 points (at least for Dragons, Lion and Gator are more difficult).
