and i witnessed it
a poor little noob say around level 300 or so was having inventory struggles or lag, i wasn't quite sure but they ended up dropping their starlet outfit that they treasured and it was only for a moment but a guy ran up to them and stole it. she begged and begged for it back but he laughed and said that's what she gets for dropping her outfits and it would teach her not to drop her outfits anymore. i can't quite remember his name but he was an ultradouche and ran away with the dress.
poor little noob )':

[S]That's why whenever I need to get a new 8x10 Bag, I empty it in Vales because no one likes Giants or going to Vales[/S]

Bleh, if it was a dude, I would send him my male starlet set.

I'm the one who stole it. I'd do it again, too.

Looting is the obvious answer to dropping. The ultradouche in question did nothing wrong.

If you must drop valuable items that can immediately be picked up by others, you could do it in your homestead where you can personally decide who gets to be there and who doesn't.
But yeah, Vales is sadly pretty empty. Filia isn't actually that much better, though.

That's good will, not expected behavior. It's not rightfully theirs anymore. They knew the rules when they dropped an item on the ground.

This kind of behavior is found in any MMORPG that has non-bind droppable equipments.

The action is indeed douchy, and something I'd never do, but you couldn't say it wasn't unexpected...
And like he said, as bad as it sounds, it's her fault that she dropped it, as much as it is the guy's fault for lack of ethics.
But then again, it's the internet where you could do anything, and nothing really will happen to the guy.
