  ur ego shouldnt be dropping in dura too often until it has 30+ social, it just that a scrap bow is better then a weak un-feed ego.
  
  imo if ur hlb is kind of weak and low lvl it might just be cheaper to trash it and make an llb ego for now, feed it attempt to buy an pre-reforge ringbow/ele ringbow to ego once ur llb ego has a high enough stats.

  [FONT="Arial"]You don't have to make it step 6, the difference is not drastic (most people don't even risk it for items that aren't easily obtainable.) A r2 HLB is around 500k, which is very affordable. As for the price of getting elemental 6 and getting step 5-6, its all based on luck so there isn't really a price range. Weapons that are r2 have a better chance of getting elementals, on top of that. I think I have a clean r2 HLB lying around if you would like to purchase one.
  
  I would highly suggest upgrading a HLB, its very useful. You can keep your ego and a HLB if you'd like, and work on both. I personally use my ego for garbage feeding purposes since the amount of time/effort spent on an ego is too slow for my likes.

  The Masterpiece Bow is actually a viable alternative to the Highlander Long Bow depending on the content which you're facing. The obvious drawbacks are ducat repairs and having to reforge the thing to 1 Rank. I wouldn't bother with it for those reasons.
  
  Spirit weapons are not worth it. It costs over 100 million gold to hit social level 45 over a period of 1~2 years. The only spirit weapon worth considering is the Ring Bow and I highly advise against it.
  
  Demonic Infinite Bows are not worth it for the same reason why the Masterpiece Bow is not worth it. Do not waste resources reforging a Bhafel Lite to 1 Rank.
  
  The 1 Rank Highlander Long Bow is the best option. It's not the most effective option but it's pretty damn cheap considering its effectiveness.
  
  The Bhafel Hunter + Huntress is obviously the most effective option. Nothing really comes close (even my crossbow falls behind by almost 10% and I have unlimited access to Special Bolts)
  
  Effectiveness:
  Bhafel Hunter > Demonic Infinite Bow > Highlander Long Bow = Spirit Ring Bow = Masterpiece Bow

I believe the reason for this is because there are less reforge options available at r2, making it a higher chance(?) Something like that. I would say that a HLB is excellent for critical damage, so I guess it's an "all-rounder". Red>blue in terms of HLB upgrades because when you reach a certain point with stats, critical damage (red) will exceed a blue upgraded HLB.

  Is the stamina reduction worth it on the MP Bow, though? They're only about 2m [Alexina], and even as we do drain dura quickly, 5k repairs aren't that much. Yes, Bhafel Hunter/Huntress is very OP, but the amount of money it takes to make/buy is /eh/.
  So I'll be buying an r1 Ring Bow to ego, and an r1/r2 HLB then uhuhuh.
