NPC reforging something like battle swords isnt very costly, getting elemental 2 shouldnt cost more than a mill. Mid tier people should have at least a couple mill at that point in the game. Beginner tier? Ya maybe ele 2 is a bit much, but mid tier should definitely be able to afford it.
I'm a bit confused now.
@Kenero
Can you please specify a bit more as to how much money each tier makes. Maybe like give a range of how much money they make within... let's say a week? It would help a lot in differentiating between tiers.

It's all subjective really, but if ur splitting it between 3 realistic tiers your looking at basic, mid, and high tier. From my standpoint basic is just starting, mid is where you already have a feel for the game, and high is where you understand the game fully. Even at mid tier, you can make something like 1m pretty easily through raids and such.

Then I guess I'll take back what I said earlier about ele 2 reforges earlier.
I thought Mid-Tier would be more leaning towards Low-Tier than High-Tier and wouldn't do things such as raids as often as a more experienced player.
And if a person started on Tarlach (My Server) then he's definitely gonna' have a harder time making money than other servers. Hence why I think Mid-Tier is more closer to Low-Tier than the High-Tier.

I guess our opinions on the matter differ due to the servers we are on really. It's again all subjective to what you feel these fall under based on ur own observations of each tier.

On the few Mid-Tier weapons I see on this thread, almost all of them include ele 2 weapons.
I have to say, I disagree with ele 2 being Mid-Tier.
I mean, what are the chances that someone will get ele 2 on their weapon with an NPC reforge?
After that, they'd have to spend 200k~ (at least on my server) for each reforge until they get an ele 2 (Unless they buy them via NX).
I think that's a little bit too costly for even Mid-Tier.
I believe any elemental reforges should be on High-Tier.
I was going for a effectiverange reforge with npc kits spamming on fomor elven long bows (because I raft for gold often) and got a fire 2 within the first 20 tries or so, so I've been using that with wolf hunter raven and my other equips "enchanted" with fire elementals. Works nicely. I think low level elementals can be considered obtainable for mid tier if you spam them enough on npc purchased weapons.

Especially when those npc weapons are special upgradeable.
You can get an ele 2 leather long bow, and in general, the upgrade paths will make it favorable for more usage.
Same for claymore. A claymore with ele will be better than hlc with no ele.
Still not recommended for one handed weapons though, since you can't get ele 2 on rank 3 (unless it's blunts or axes)

Low Tier 1h Sword
Wooden Blade
Upgrade Paths: 132(low Sword Mastery) 138 (high Sword Mastery)
Enchant/Reforge/S.Up: N/A
Repair Cost: 98% 205 gold
- Common when fishing in Belvast and Port Cobh (base stats)
- Uncommon in Shadow Cast City from Fighters (up to +3 in Dura and Max Dmg), and also may find Kite Shields from Lancers and Archers and Blue Upgrade Stones at end chest

Don't need to fish when you can just buy from NPC. A better alternative would be broadswords, easily accessible and special upgrades. Or course short swords for more damage. Fomor weapons work too.

Personally I think mid-tier is the area where almost anything can go. Low tier is, as previously stated, just starting out and getting a feel for the game. High tier is finding filling out your entire gear set and making it as powerful as possible.
Mid tier though is more of a progression tier rather than a "set place". It could be a guy whos just graduating from fox, giant, etc enchants or a person whos running to get an expansive enchant or viscount enchant. It has the largest "spread" if you will.

They've fixed Wooden Blades so that they could be bought in stores? Anyway, Wooden Blades are for SM/dungeon spam. With profits not being too high starting off, having a lower overhead on weapon repairs allows the inexperienced player to either buy more potions or have a bit more money saved. For a more experienced player, overkilling just leads to paying more for the same result so I don't see a problem with having a cheap set that can be beat up over and over again.

For a weapon that isn't expensive, fomor weapons are much better for that purpose. Or beginner weapons.

I'm more interested in seeing what High Tier looks like, and more importantly, the best way to obtain the stuff.
