I know each servers have different pvp rules but what are your thoughts on "current pvp rules"?
As far as i know using pots/manashield is pretty much common sense but so far I've seen a lot of cheats like spamming int magic, final hits, dischords/wiresnares, and even Mirage... well at least in Alexina.

Pretty sure most people quit caring about rules for dueling when the dynamic combat system made dueling 100% dependent on connection and reaction speed, and take no skill whatsoever. Just look at all the people at south gate in ch1 Dunbarton in Alexina.

Also,Barehanded melee only,human range,no clothes/armor/accessories.
There,now PvP is fair.

Then they're not human to begin with, probably undercover fomor...or half-human. Disqualifying them and making them a living cheat.

PvP is still a thing?
Well, I guess the rules are common knowledge
No Frozenblast/Frozenwave
No Dischord/Hydra(?)/poison
No spamming
No Mana Shield
No trans
No potions
No PvP

When was spamming Thunder banned? Also bolt spam is easy to break out of [S]so as long as your adversary does not have a level 20 cast speed reforge[/s]
Telling a magic user to not spam bolts is like telling warriors to use only Smash, same goes for archers and ranged/AR. [S]If a damn jeeant with no ranged attack can break out of these so called spamming, then so can a hooman and alf who has access to ranged attacks.
P.S. D00LING is a great way to enlarge epeen[/s]

The #1 rule of PVP is that there is no PVP.

of the top of my head, frozen blast, dischord, poison, continuous final hit (but final hit just to teleport and smack them once is okay), mirage missile. those things that are generally agreed upon.
though, in mari, advanced magic is allowed. Every skill set is allowed, the trick is to not "spam." For example, I used to use thunder before the dynamic combat changes. It was uncommon to see a mage duelist, and most people had the notion that all I'd do would be spam bolts. I would whack someone, to knock them back, then use firebolt to create distance, then lightning bolt to stun them in place. Then I would charge and use thunder. While they were stunned, I'd do n+blaze. There was nothing wrong because I used my skillset ethically.
Another example would be when more recently I saw a guy make great use of merlin knuckles. He would icespear someone, then switch over to his bow and land a magnum shot. He could have relied on it the whole time and do nothing else, but he changed it up with the use of fighter in between.
Lately though, I've seen many alchemists duel, and it's something I welcome very much. There's more diversity in how to duel and how to win. They may windblast then use water cannon, then charge at you and use flame burst. They may seem spammy, but they never just sit back and spam water cannon/flame burst all day. They change it up often and it's nice to see that.

I've pvped, and it's mostly people who use fighter and guns nonstop. I got fed up, and started AR spamming. I used ego ring so they pretty much couldn't touch me.
So yeah, pvp is shit

I've seen people pvp from time to time these days, and I couldn't stop myself from giggling.
The guy uses life drain on one (lol), and the another uses trans. Back when pvp actually used to be cool, the rule was something like no trans, no hp pots, no mana shield, no poison, etc.
I just don't see pvp as a good thing anymore. I know there are exceptions among those that enjoy pvp, but most I've seen are not experienced players, and to be put in a best way, stupid players.
