I thought sushi was all about the fish though, and I've never actually had wasabi before either.
Sushi is actually the term for the specific kind of rice they use, it has nothing to do with raw fish, though that's how the western world sees it used most often. A lot of times the fish or seafood is actually slightly cooked so it still looks raw but isn't bad for you.
Also, disregard everything he said. Wasabi is terrible, even the fake kind. It is so spicy you will vomit blood for a week.
Have you tried this American Classic? It's a bacon cheeseburger with whole pizzas for buns.

Most of Nation likes disgusting well done steak covered with ketchup.

I like medium rare covered with ketchup.

That looks about how I like mine, though I'm extremely picky with meat. Can't be chewy, can not have that annoying fat all over it. The texture of chewy fat on meat makes me lose my appetite. I don't mind that thick trim of fat around the edges, I just don't eat it, but serve me a steak with fat running through it and I'll throw it in your face.

Steak is best when it's brown all the way through. I've never heard of anyone eating ketchup on steak though.

Ketchup I dunno about, but I do see people covering it in steak sauce... the hell is steak sauce anyways?
I want to taste that delicious dead cow, not some proprietary blend of ingredients.

AKA the 'MURIKA.
I don't eat meat unless it's completely dead. It has to be thoroughly cooked. Through and through. I won't eat rare steak, half-cooked fish, or runny eggs. Also, Watkins BBQ sauce is the best IMO. Asides from my brother's special blend. <3

You mean like the whole "you can go unauthentic and use remoulade" thing? Also you're supposed to really only use a teeny tiny bit of wasabi.
And if you can't even handle horseradish you probably just aren't made for spicy food. In that case you can easily fall back on remoulade however, so no big deal.

I don't add anything to my sushi, if it's good sushi I want to eat it the way the chef made it. If it's not good sushi then I don't want to eat it.
Same goes for most foods. I don't really use condiments on anything.

I'm talking about selfmade sushi and replacing the wasabi paste that usually goes with sushi with remoulade. I originally did this because I didn't want to put out relatively major money for a rhizom piece or wait for a plant to grow to harvestable state and using a pseudo-wasabi seemed like a very cheap replacement, so I used something entirely different.

I don't use many condiments either. The most I normally use is salt, and that's just because it makes everything taste better.

I guess you know what condiment I like to use the most....
I use it on appropriate foods though, except for steak I just like how it tastes with ketchup.

Pffft, no duh. I doubt
anyone would try making it before trying it. Gordon Ramsey said that it was the hardest ethnic cuisine to make (Japanese, that is).
