Best demonic illusion control bar upgrade path?

  I mean act7 your main skill ignores protection for crits so it really dosent matter. Max should be the most important. Act1 and act2 are like side moves to use, while helpful, arent great. Crisis and Act7 are mostly to be used.

  Seeing as how this question was about Demonic Control Bars, that also means that they have pretty much all of the Puppet skills maxed or at least close to. Much more likely the mostly used ones. This is also probably no newbie we're talking about. So going for max would definitely be optimal.
  
  If you're using lesser bars like jeweled or whatever, that varies depending on the user's capabilities. Let's at least try to keep this somewhat relevant to the original asker's question.

  Crit is calculated like the max. So lets say a person with 80% crit (char screen) will have 56% pcrit + 20% from control + 60% from marionette control. 136% crit is more than ideal while using puppets.

  For a "main" puppeteer you're quite mistaken, S5 upgrade adds 31 max as handles are one handed weapons. And that 31 max is only there to prettify your character screen as only 70% of it takes effect to what matters. Aka 21 max, which isn't gonna get you 4 digit damage.

  Was mentioned, which is why i also throw the comment that puppeteers make an excellent beginning class too, because of the marionette damage from those skills. Since day one, and yet people look at stat sheets and not the true numbers.
