Just thought it was interesting to read. But damn. 4k+? That's some dedication. Rofl.
No way that can be true. That's over 800 times per day. Even if the event takes 1 minute to do, that's still 13+ hours.

This. Even having memorized the patterns so that I can know the liar before the NPCs even speak, talking to Genial and the entering/exiting the mission takes at LEAST a minute. Maybe slightly less if you live IN Nexon HQ. I don't see how any of the people banned could have possibly done it that much. Especially seeing as the event was only available from 6 Pm to 6 Am. That means the event is only accessible 40 times a day (12 hours real time).

The event takes a few seconds to do since the liar is indicated by the position in which the NPC's are standing. Also people were doing it in Bangor for dat fast overworld loading time. People got ~90 boxes every 6PM-6AM period

I don't see why you guys would think you cant do it. I never did that event and didnt know about the glitch cause i only play on weekends for the ap event however Im sure plenty of people in alexina grind for longer during special x5 exp and x3 ap. I mean that one person played for what 20hours to get level 200 in a day?

4000 times isn't impossible. I've gotten 60 over 18 minutes, so if you're crazy enough, it's doable

I was not aware of this exploit at all. I'm happy that I was so lazy, that I didn't even do the event once. If I did it, I would have definitively spam it and got banned.
But 4k is incredible. How do people not get tired of doing the same thing THAT many times. 0_o
EDIT: Excluding the market channel, Alexina seems kind of empty now, at least to me that is. Hehe.

Sabina has said this is only "the first round" and that the next round of bans won't only be on people with 200+ abuses. Because. You know. Just taking down and fixing the event makes too much sense.

My point entirely.
But taking into account the level of incompetent that is the Nexon employees, recoding the event will probably implode the HQ

"Rolling back" a single character is probably not the correct terminology to use, but yes, they can modify your character on an individual basis. They do it on maplestory more frequently than one would think, and dakota is talking on behalf of them modifying his character.
Ya. plsforgive wrong terminology.

how can you tell by their standing position? I always thought the text was the only indication

Most NPCs, when they're the liar, stand in a specific spot every single time. As soon as you spawn the NPCs, you can see which NPC is in their 'liar' spot, and complete a round in just seconds.

Also, you can tell by whoever is in the far right position of the lineup. They are in pairs.
When Padan is on the right, Duncan is the liar.
When Duncan is on the right, Padan is the liar.
When Edern is on the right, Lucas is the liar.
When Lucas is on the right, Edern is the liar.
When Walter is on the right, Shayla is the liar.
When Shayla is on the right, Walter is the liar.
Andras is the only one without a pair. When Andras is on the right, Andras is the liar.
