It really feels like these Crusader skills don't work like they should.
Like, it really seems like Shield of Trust's aura should protect everyone inside it from Meteor Hail... but it doesn't.
And it really seems like Celestial Spike's "Divine damage" shouldn't be affected by Girgashiy's defensive stats... but it is.
And it really seems like Judgement Blade should decrease Girgashiy's damage reduction... but it doesn't.
And just seeing that raid video Joey posted, where Crusader skills are mostly ignored in favor of traditional whooping, just really makes me think that Girgashiy is just difficult right now because the skills don't work as well as they seem like they should.
Er, anyways, I personally think the Crusader skills should be buffed, at the very least against Apostles. This raid would be more worth the effort if skills actually weakened Apostles when used in their obvious pattern. (e.g. shield -> spike -> blade, against the Girgashiy)
Shield of Trust is obviously very useful against Girashiy.
Celestial Spikes honestly doesn't seem like a very good skill in raids or out. The damage is extremely lackluster and the speed reduction lasts only a brief amount of time. I mean, it's heavily outclassed by Devil's Cry. The only thing it has over that skill is AOE damage and speed reduction but both are incredibly pathetic (20% speed reduction, wtf).
Judgement Blade, on the other hand, seems like it has good potential. The skill won't deal much damage at Rank 1 but it should hypothetically cleave his defense with maxed out Breaking Lies and stun him for an extra 7.5 seconds. In other words, he's going to use Mineral Shower every 40 seconds. When he's not using or recovering from Meteor Shower (which effectively deals no damage) he'll be using his other, scarier attacks.
Shield of Trust stuns him for 7~5 seconds, depending on difficulty. Celestial Spikes extends this by 7~5 seconds, depending on difficulty. Judgment Blade can additionally stun him for up to 1.5 seconds per player (capped at 5). He has a load time of 5~3 seconds.
With maxed out Binding Needles, you should leave him 18.5~24.5 seconds to attack the party per 45 second period. With nothing more than shield usage on hard, he'll have 37 seconds to pound your team (effectively 50% more time).

This leads me to question, however, why they haven't removed the Windmill AI reset thing.
