The ads are unbearable, every time i want to fast forward or rewind I have to get through 3 30 second ads and every moment there would normally be a commercial break. I pay for both hulu plus and Netflix and they cost exactly the same. One is an ad-free experience. The other has ads that make me want to pull my hair out. I'd even pay more for no ads, I'll buy hulu plus plus just for the love of god give me an option without the ads.

That's what you get for watching television.

Irrelevant, it's content that doesn't belong to you.
The excuse that piracy is fine because you're broke is so entitled, like holy shit.
Where is Yoorah when you need him?

I think it's ok in some circumstances, like when you really want it but the producer/developer is kind of shit from a different angle so you don't want to reward them. May be a bit ruthless, but I'm not really bothered by it.

For me it all depends on the delivery method.
I stopped pirating games once Steam got really good, almost everything I feel like playing is on there.
Netflix is on the right track for video content but still sucks unless you're in the US, and even in the US it's not so good for anime (as far as I know). So once I can subscribe to one single streaming service and get all my movies/tv/anime at the time of release and not weeks/months later I'll stop pirating video content.
Same for literature (mostly manga since I don't read novels/books anymore), once I can read any manga I want at the same pace as the folks in Japan, in english, I'll stop going to sites like mangareader.
Delivery method and release schedule is fucking important for me.
It doesn't justify it being right/wrong but it means I don't give a flying fuck about your compensation if your content is not being delivered to me how I want, when I want it.

How would that even be possible given that translation takes its time?
Seems rather impatient quite frankly.
