You know, just doing all of the daily missions can get you somewhere from 50~100k. 150k might be a lot of money for a very small group of people.
Last I checked you don't get daily missions until total level 50, but once they do the mission doesn't list anything but a city name. How to actually do shadow missions isn't part of the beginner tutorials last I checked, they often need help and guidance learning about that (which is partially why
I explained shadow missions here).
And even when they do know about it, talent levels restrict which difficulty missions can be completed (on top of their actual skills and strength potentially further limiting which missions they can grind, especially with the time limit that doesn't exist in dungeons).

But I'm sure most people should have at least a few million of gold or the equivalent value of items.
I'm sure when the results of the stat gathering come in (
the more replies I read the more it's obvious that I need to do this) you'll be surprised how many people don't have a couple mil laying around.
(Also there's the point of people often not wanting to sell their items if it's a valuable item they spent a lot of time and effort to obtain.)

Yui is a waste of money unless you care for fashion.
But!
New players can get something much more efficient from selling that Yui such as max damage gear.
And!
Yui is not an item new players can even easily get unless they are very lucky.
Also!
If a "new player" somehow got their hand on a Yui without using the gacha...I'm gonna have to say that anyone who could make at least 10mil isn't "new".
Therefore?
Yui dolls are pointless and serve as a status symbol.

The Yui support puppet has functions that can be helpful in the game. Therefore it's not useless. In addition, when compared to other items, they have functions that other items do not replicate specifically, right? I checked out the other support puppet and the wiki page doesn't mention showing the right dungeon orb so it seems to be a function specific to Yui.

...and you say that we're jaded.
This is hilarious.

I'm certainly not deluded by spending too much time at the high end of the game as to think everybody plays a certain way,
nor am I showing a lack of enthusiasm/care!

Kelpy probably remembers something I don't, but the correct orb rotates clockwise every 10 seconds. You have to guess through trial and error, once you find it, you possibly can predict the rest.
I've read this too, but as far as I see this is not a reliable technique. The only time I was able to get it to work for more than 2-3 rooms was back when there were client mods that actually included this timer on-screen in-game... and as far as I know those types of mods have not been around for a long time (it also included precise trans timers from reading your character data and junk and moon gate timers back when those mattered).

I never said we were the majority of the game. I'm perfectly aware of the fact that most active players are not as strong as many people in this site. However, my point still stands. You have 0 proper gear. Out of all the under total 500s I've faced, at least 85% of them had some sort of gear, have it be some old school stuff like Fox Giant. You see, those are ridiculously easy to get. Those cost like what, 10k? You could easily make three times that money by running shadow wizard int. You don't have to be a min-maxing player, you can get gears still, for under even 100k. I'm not asking for end-game gear, I'm just asking for some sort of gear. You were running around with what, Kirinuijin's and that one flat cap? I highly doubt those are enchanted either. Beginners can make a much better gear than this by putting fox giant on everything, and that would still cost less than 150k.

The cap was chosen to hold enchants because it's a high-dura cheap-repair cap. The armor was chosen because it's cheap-repair heavy armor that's easy to replace. I did some durability upgrades on it to offset durability loss from wearing it so long in my main slots. Since you seem to take such a huge interest in my personal equipment, I have some prefix scrolls saved up (and with the timer removed), like Extraordinary and Special, I just haven't gotten around to finding and putting a RA enchant on it to stick those R9s on it. Though at this point I'm considering getting another one to prof up for more durability upgrades, if I can get another Imp scroll.
And it looks like I should include questions about if the player enchants their gear and stuff when I'm gathering info too...

We're not jaded at all. If anything, that's you. You're stuck in a mindset where you're just trying to justify everything for beginners, when in reality, we've all been beginners, and we figured out our own shit. And how did I do this? By work, and beginners can do this as well (and you). I can tell you I haven't spent much real life money as well. I mean, for fuck's sake, I still don't have a partner.
We'll wait until the results of the survey to see what it's really like in game, eh?

Knowing the right orb in a dungeon is not worth 30-100m.
Are they going for that much in your server? Must be a lot of hardcore SAO fans or something, I'm seeing much less in Ruairi when people mention it.

Buy a 2x exp pot if you want the mob exp from soloing ciar adv hm.
I doubt that people who have difficulty beating the monsters in Baol infiltration can solo that.
Unless you're being sarcastic.
