I appreciate wiki (I still think its the best source to get skill/content info) but lately a lot of new stuff has been very inaccurate. You guys should have "evidence section" for editing or else a lot of skill/contents will be still inaccurate. Did I mention I've fixed "inaccurate" data and next day it was changed back by someone else?
Snowie edit: This thread allows people to continue the discussion they had in another thread.
The posts in this thread are what's left after cleaning it up, but should still be enough to keep the discussion going. Keep it civil from now on, though.
I'm sorry if it's a bother to anyone.

I've actually been saying we need a "Research in progress" tab or something similar (like some other wikis do) because of the issues we have with getting data on new content lately. There's a lot of work planned for the wiki though so it's in the pile of things to consider.
Also if you have fixed an inaccuracy and someone reverts it, please make a note on the discussion page. For the most part even minor things will be taken seriously and discussed though I will admit that sometimes the discussions aren't answered (visibility issues?). In this case if you want to pursue it further you can try PMing staff on the m-world forum or making a topic there. The staff are trying to move towards taking everyone's concerns seriously and trying to make the wiki more welcoming to contributions.

Even Aubog chipped in in his own way and regardless of his reputation elsewhere he's a welcome and (used to be) regular contributor that did good work.
Well. I used to do more work, until my 1000 runs of their method and stones of sliab wasnt enough to validate easy locations of red and blue upgrade stones.
Yes, i had put a chart of what missions drop upgrade stones but was removed because someone "proved" it wrong.

I think I found the thread you're talking about and suffice to say, the wiki user you mostly argued with is not held in good standing. If it's alright with you I'd like to bring this up again and have the content reassessed. Because if you are right and I'm inclined to think you are, that should belong on the wiki.

Are they good locations for stones?

I made this thread out of the remains from the discussion about wiki that weren't offensive but good enough for a discussion.
This thread doesn't have a really good starting point because of this, but it at least allows you to continue the discussion if you wish to do so.
I'm sorry if it's a bother but do carry on please~

I've taken hands off of editing the Wiki ever since it became full of dumbasses and stubborn fashionogis.
I think it'd be a better idea to have our own sources like that, but then again, easier said than done.

Meh. I still find it harlious that the wiki listed the str skill cap for giants to be lower than humans. They should really add the ninja skills in.
To the original topic, I hate how whenever something is edited, the wiki members will most likely revert the changes unless you're one of them . I had a similar experience with a different wikia, so I never bothered anymore.

I also stopped editing the wiki a very long time ago, back when people started taking down anyone's in-game (equipped) item images to replace it with theirs, even if theirs were not improving anything. There seems to be a group within the main wiki community that seems to be able to do whatever they want (don't know if it's still the case but judging from this thread it looks like it).
I don't use the wiki anymore except for skill ranking requirements for ranks I haven't reached yet, so I can get depressed about how much time it will take me.

As inaccurate as it can be sometimes and as 'mean' as some editors could be, I still think it's the best organized wiki I have encountered for a game so far. Though it could use some tweaking with the editing privileges(?).

Completely going against what a wiki is.

I only put up rewards on the wiki nowadays. Surprised no one put in the heart wings on the reward list for doki doki for like.. 3 days.
And yeah, the whole wiki clique thing is disappointing.

Is op talking about the repair cost of the gun? I'm sure that's just a bug.

You know what bugs me? When I see the phrase "it is unknown if... it is unconfirmed..." on the wiki.
