Jesus. A man following you for five minutes after you ignore his initial advances is absolutely terrifying-- I probably would have phoned the police.
All the catcalling though, I think it's a bit less... serious. I mean, I know it's not something any woman should be subjected to, especially just walking on the streets, but compared to the tailing that one guy did... yeah. It would definitely feel invasive if it's happening tens or even a hundred times a day though.
I think it's just due to me being unable to completely put myself in the woman's position when it comes to something like this, and I can't help but feel that if the guys doing the catcalling/making it obvious they were looking to hookup instead tried to genuinely engage her in a conversation (even if they weren't looking for more than to hookup), it'd be perceived as a lot less creepy/harassing.

I've had more than one man insisting on walking me home. I told them someone was picking me up at the bus station. Luckily that was true.
I've also had a man pretending to ask for directions and trying to get me to move closer to his car. When that failed, he made some obscene comment about my chest and drove off.
Catcalling is at best, irritating, and at worst, genuinely scary. I don't feel complimented because guys who catcall me have this smug look on their faces, like they're already condescending to me after knowing me for all of two seconds. At least they're easier to ignore more quickly. Some guys try to act nice and think that being nice is some sort of fee for what they think they're entitled to afterwards. Maybe from a guy's point of view this isn't a big deal, but the paranoia can build up so that, even if a guy is genuinely being nice, I'm sort of conditioned to assume something unpleasant could happen afterwards (even if it is just some kind of lewd remark about me).

That's actually pretty scary.
I consider it chivalrous to offer to walk with a woman back to her home but I suppose that's just a silly archaic gesture these days. It's good that people are at least bringing this issue to light.

Embarassing.

Is yelling "DAWMN!" supposed to get you anything...?
This is ridiculous, men need to learn to behave.
Some of the stuff in this video doesn't look bad though ( I even felt bad for the last dude that asked if he's ugly), but I could understand how a woman could get paranoid and scared even so, since you just never know.

Oh god, it must be so terrible to be called beautiful everywhere you go; how did she even survive? The video I'd also subtly racist. Pretty much every guy in the vid is black. Where are the creepy white guys?

Probably doing something productive with their lives instead of loitering on the street harassing random women.
