It has been a long time to greet you again since the 10th Anniversary Fantasy Party.
By reading all suggestions and notices in the Mabinogi homepage and other community websites, the Mabinogi development team has looked thoroughly into all suggestions, notices, and complaints about the currently existing bugs, issues and content problems, along with suggestions for revamps in regards to weapons, combat system, and gaps between race/talent , and about lag issues, bugs, and abnormal shutdown of the game client.
We have been concerned for a very long time about what direction to take in order have the players of Mabinogi enjoy the game more by reading everyone's various suggestions.
Today I would like to notify everyone after a long time of thought and concerns, about the introduction and important parts of the November Update, and what kind updates we will be having in the future.
Mabinogi, known as the most free style game, have many talents and skills.
As time went on through our service, new skills and talents were implemented, which increased reliance towards certain skills while the others were not relied upon due to them being more weaker than the other, which were very disappointing to many. It was also seen that only few certain skill sets were being used in dungeons and shadow missions.
As a character's level became higher and stronger, new environment for it were needed, but we have seen that players would have a difficult for players to catch up towards such new environment in terms of certain contents such as difficulty and rewards, which seems to have made the current situation that more effective and specific contents were more focused upon by the players.
So after many thoughts and brainstorming, the Development Team has decided to revamp the Mabinogi's current contents and system through the "Mabinogi Renovation Project".
With the announcing of this project, "Close Combat" talent will be revamped in the upcoming update.
This update's goal is to increase the reliability and decrease the hurdle.
Skills that fall in attack power and speed will be increased, and things that limit a skill's usage will be decreased.
The Close Combat talent's skills that pertain to the points stated above will be focused upon and will be majorly revamped upon.
The points stated above will be implemented in the Test Server on November 7th, where Balance tests and bug modifications will be done, and the update will be finally implemented in mid-November.
As a follow-up, in order to deal with the Game's environment and bugs, we will be having the
"Grand Bug Eradication" Update at the end of November.
The "Grand Bug Eradication" update's goal is to deal with several bugs that appeared from a long time ago towards the recent ones in several aspects, and several lag issues and abnormal movements will also be repaired.
However some issues may take a long period of time to repair.
We apologize for this inconvenience and hope for your understanding.
We know that a single update will not satisfy all users.
That is why the Development Team has planned to make this update as a start to apply several reforms towards the currently existing Mabinogi system and contents thoroughly.
We hope for more of everyone's love and interest towards the game in the future as the incoming updates are applied.
